We bought Bplant in year 2020/21 at 57 sen when people were pessimistic selling due to algae business (rumour they might fail or siphon out money. So there was a SELL DOWN THEN.)

Now mood here has turned very positive hence price no longer cheap like 57 sen (Calvin thinks TSH & Jtiasa now got lots of negative posts and prices also sold down. There fore TSH & JTIASA Offer better Value.

And Bplant has given us FANTASTIC DIVIDENDS

See

23-May-2023 08-Jun-2023 DIVIDEND First Interim Dividend RM 0.0100
21-Feb-2023 07-Mar-2023 DIVIDEND Fourth Interim Dividend RM 0.0330
22-Nov-2022 07-Dec-2022 DIVIDEND Third Interim Dividend RM 0.0110
23-Aug-2022 12-Sep-2022 DIVIDEND Second Interim Dividend RM 0.0275
23-May-2022 08-Jun-2022 DIVIDEND First Interim Dividend RM 0.0730
21-Feb-2022 10-Mar-2022 DIVIDEND Fourth Interim Dividend RM 0.0400
23-Nov-2021 08-Dec-2021 DIVIDEND Third Interim Dividend RM 0.0175
25-Aug-2021 09-Sep-2021 DIVIDEND Second Interim Dividend RM 0.0230
25-May-2021 10-Jun-2021 DIVIDEND First Interim Dividend RM 0.0030
24-Mar-2021 07-Apr-2021 DIVIDEND Second Interim Dividend RM 0.0050
23-Nov-2020 08-Dec-2020 DIVIDEND Interim Dividend RM 0.0050

By such good dividends our Cost of holding Bplant now just above 30 sen

Any more dividends will further pare down our cost to ZERO

Then ALL AND FOREVER WE WILL BE GETTING FREE DIVIDENDS FOR LIFE

BPLANT NO NEED GET PRIVATISED BUT CONTINUE TO GIVE DIVIDEND YEAR AFTER HAPPY YEAR WILL JUST BE GREAT

Palm oil Companies before year 2020 got lots of debts & little cash as Cpo was only Rm2200 or less per ton

See

https://www.google.com/search?q=dam+drought+images&oq=dam+drought+images&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i22i30l2j0i390i650l3.15724j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#imgrc=KhNwhw4n0lKH4M&imgdii=aNwkByN4JBBKsM

BUT AFTER 2 YEARS OF VERY HIGH CPO PRICES OVER RM5000 TO RM6000

ALL PALM OIL COS RECEIVED LOTS OF CASH LIKE A FLOOD AND THE ACCOUNTS ARE NOW FULL OF CASH

CASH RICH DEBT FREE CO CANNOT GO BANKRUPT

AND LIKE AN OVERFLOWING DAM THE CASH WILL FLOW OUT AS ENDLESS DIVIDEND STREAMS FOR LIFE (SINCE NO NEED TO PAY BANK LOAN ANYMORE)

Cry later?

Kulim was taken private at Rm4.10 (was Rm2.50)

Tmakmur taken private Rm1.90 (was Rm1.38)

Kwantas taken private Rm1.65 (from only 50 sen)

Ijmplant was Rm1.86 and Klk took it private at Rm3.10

all above got less than 150,000 acres palm oil and lands located at less promising lands

Bplant has a whopping 220,000 acres. Those in Peninsular are FREEHOLD

Many near Townships and Growth Zones

So? Hold long will Bplant remain so dirt cheap below Rm1.00???

It's all mere 'paper' gain if you don't lock in profit. All I read thus far is speculative. Privatization la, sell land la, LTAT takeover la and whatnot. Until corporate come out with an announcement, I don't want to miss this opportunity. Oil palm and plantation in general is seasonal and therefore its stock price. There's always another chance to re-enter at a more attractive price in the future.

Boustead Holdings and LTAT are substantial shareholders in BPlant, together they hold 69%. The remaining shareholders are small investors, most of them hold less than 1%. The records so far, the 2 major shareholders are generous to minority shareholders. We hope they will continue with their generosity.

If really privatizing, the offer price is easily RM1.20, another 40% more upside!

In year 2018 after BPLANT Sold Peninsular Palm oil lands It Bought Lands in Sabah

See what BPLANT Management said

"Lodin then said 2018 is expected to be a good year with palm oil prices forecast to trade between RM2,400 and RM2,700 per tonne, driven by strong global demand".

GOOD YEAR FOR PALM OIL WHEN CPO ONLY RM2400 TO RM2700??

Read this carefully

Lodin then said 2018 is expected to be a good year with palm oil prices forecast to trade between RM2,400 and RM2,700 per tonne, driven by strong global demand.

NOW CPO IS RM3400

IF RM2400 to RM2700 considered good?

THEN RM3400 WILL BE HOW?

https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/MYX-FCPO1!/

So hello everybody!

Don't just simply listen to what Research Houses or Media gave neutral call on Palm oil

YOU MUST THINK FOR YOURSELF!!!

GO FIND THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH! THE TRUTH!!!

Excellent or Great?

No need to guess, the offer price sure has to be higher than the NTA of 1.27 ma

With premium, at least 1.40 and above then people only willing to accept ma..

So still got upside now

BPLANT is historically well known for its land banks. According to this old analysis, since listing, BPLANT earnings came entirely and more from its sale of landbanks, than from plantation - https://focusmalaysia.my/boustead-plantation-is-the-company-really-in-the-plantation-biz/. Anytime there's news that someone is going to unlock its landbanks, price starts to shoot up. This is a clear goreng stock.

If you own this counter, make sure you sell on its way up at higher prices. You won't regret because inevitably, its price will come crashing down.

Below news, though not related to Bplant, is indicating LTAT/Boustead is on divestment spree. Bplant is on the card .

June 15): Boustead Holdings Bhd. is considering divesting its gas stations in Malaysia and is seeking as much as RM2 billion, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The Kuala Lumpur-based conglomerate is working with an adviser to sell Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn., also known as BHPetrol, the people said. Oil and gas companies as well as investment firms have shown interest in the deal, the people said, asking not to be identified as the process is private.
The move comes after Boustead, whose backers include the country’s armed forces pension fund Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera, bought out the other shareholders of BHPetrol, one of the people said.

In the case BHPetrol, LTAT bought up the other partner (don’t know how much was paid) , then only look to divest it for a huge $2 bil price tag .
For Bplant, I assume that they will also buy up the minorities first , then only divest the valuable assets .
Minorities got to be smarter this round for not giving in easily and cheaply.

rohank71, you may be right . Boustead has just denied Bloomberg’s report that it has started the process of divesting BHPetrol. Judging from BPlant’s trading behavior, it could well be Bplant instead .
$2 bil for 1.286 bil share owned by Boustead (excluding those held directly by LTAT)??
That works out to be around $1.55 per share.
Just for general discussion purpose only . Not a buy or sell call .

Brian, did I said Bstead /LTAT are the parties buying up Bplant from open market in the past few days ???
I think you are quite confused of what I said .

Posted by miracle_trader > 2023-06-16 12:50 | Report Abuse

dont blame brian, he is simple minded. Lol. He thinks that if LTAT wants to buy, must be from open market. N its obvious big sharks who caught wind of some news is the one buying the last few days, not LTAT
