Take note from past precedents

Tmakmur and Kwantas both with only 65,000 acres (only 1/3 of bplant 220,000 acres )

PAHANG Agong took Tmakmur private for it's KOTASAS HOUSING at Rm1.90 (from Rm1.38)

Kwantas Sabah owner took it private at Rm1.65 (from 50 sen)

How much is Bplant in value compared to

privatization of

Ijm plant Rm3.10

Kulim Rm4.10

Tmakmur Rm1.90

Kwantas Rm1.65

Bplant ???

Last time Cpo was Rm2200 to Rm2500

today Cpo Rm3770

last time no Ecer Rail and no Pan Borneo highway unlocking land prices

So???

Bplant is worth how much???

When Harrison was offered at Rm1.20 by Indon owner to be taken private

it was Averted by Peter from USA as he and others bought and hold more than 10% to BLOCK PRIVATIZATION

TODAY HARRISON ALMOST BLUE CHIP NEAR RM10.00

Better let Bplant be listed

only then we can see ITS FULL ENTERPRIZE VALUE LONGER TERM

I believe the potential takeover price by third party may be closer to $2.50 as I take into consideration the large track of development land that can be monetized for huge sum . The acquirer can recover a significant portion of the sum spent by monetizing some of the development land .

bought Bplant at 57 sen in year 2020 and received more than 20 sen dividend already so lost only 30 sen plus

at the rate of superb dividends my holding of Bplant will soon be foc (free of charge) for life

and then free cost and continue to receive free dividend for life

my longest holding is Umw bought in year 2004 (a short 19 years only ) today Umw is free and I had forgotten about it
just receive dividends

KLk takeover offer for ijmplant was based on 1.9x book value.
On the same multiple , Bplant should fetch 1.9 x $1.30 = $2.47 .
No doubt that Bplant’s plantations are in poorer condition. However, all its lands are in Malaysia where land cost is considerably higher (iJM has about half in Kalimantan). Additionally, Bplant has large track of high value development land in west Malaysia.

Just for discussion purposes.

Unlikely LTAT will let go of BPlant and it's priceless land bank. It will be lost forever! Politically sensitive too. The only option will be to take it private. By that it can conduct it's business as usual and not tied down by listing rules.

Are we going to see volume turnover in the 50 millions like in 2020/2021?

KUALA LUMPUR (June 19): Boustead Plantations Bhd (BPlant) shot up as much as 12 sen or 13.48% to an all-time high of RM1.01 in Monday (June 19) morning trading, after The Edge Malaysia weekly, citing sources, reported that Boustead Holdings Bhd is planning to divest its 57% stake in the plantations group.

Year-to-date, it has risen 70.18% or 41.65 sen from 59.35 sen.

Meanwhile, 49.31 million shares traded hands, making BPlant the sixth-most traded counter on Monday. The volume of traded shares was almost 25 times its 200-day average of 2.21 million.

Boustead, which is in the midst of being privatised by Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT), is understood to have invited proposals on the sale of its stake in BPlant two weeks ago.

According to the weekly magazine, bidders include YTL Group, Wilmar International Ltd, IOI Corp Bhd and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd.

you are not the first one who is asking this question

Bplant has gone up from 64 sen to Rm1.01 fast and furious and as such there will be stale bull and contra Kaki selling although "unknown parties" might be accumulating

So it will be very hard to determine human emotions

If you are short term then there is no guarantee but again if anyone can buy and hold then in the light of its deep deep value longer term Bplant still very ok

Fyi (for your info) I bought Bplant at 57 sen in year 2020 and it went up over Rm1.20
then it dropped near 60 sen again but no regret as I held on and now Rm1.01 again

3 years have come and gone swiftly

what will the next 3 years be for Bplant

Will it be taken private ?
Will it go higher?
Will it retrace back again?

The future is what?

Let it unfold for I shall hold on to see it's final enterprize value

Enough said about Bplant’s valuable assets. The money is still not yours until it is in your pocket.
You should tell all your followers when can they see the money and at what price. $1.30, $1.50, $2.0 or $2.50 ? Your followers can not wait indefinitely and in the end get a short end of the stick like in the case of Boustead Holding.
