50cts cannot so fast lah,must wait unless profit can jump.even profit down or loss also cannot down a lot anymore cos already discounted.unless loss a few hundred millions then can down a lot. even like sapnrg loss 2.5bil also cannot down a lot already cos already discounted.

Hi powerinvestor, I think it will be 0.10 soon. There are news about retrenchment, about 20%of the workforce. Once SAS core staff starting to leave, they will lose their content creators.

@thepainfultruth : u seem to know a lot about insider news. are your sources reliable? do you work in the industry?

Posted by Thepainfultruth > 2018-03-30 08:24 | Report Abuse

I hv a friend who is running a book store. As you know, people talk and nothing can be hidden these days.

He also said unsold books returned to SAS were not given CN even after more than 6 months causing a cash flow problem, as he can't order new books.

This could be a precautious step by SAS to 'beautify' the qtr report, to lower the inventories and to improve the cash flow.

Do your research, don't take what I say.

That may be why its receivables surged despite lower revenue as it did not issue credit note which supposedly to reduce receivables and ultimately its NTA.

can u let us know receivables rose how much?

increase by RM16mil according to the latest Q result. in my simplistic thinking, if they manage to collect all the receivables, the revenue and profit should go up the next quarter.

EPF dispose who buy? so many buyers is who?

Posted by Thepainfultruth > 2018-03-30 20:05 | Report Abuse

SAS market cap is somewhere between 120 to 140 millions.

The highest yearly revenue is around 90millions.

In an interview earlier this month, SAS MD revealed that their inventories are 69 million and trade receivables 62 millions.

You can view the video on this forum if you click on the headlines.

Is this healthy? Those who runs a business will know... shh...

why should I average down?

Posted by Quan Fu Gan > 2018-04-06 07:58 | Report Abuse

XD now the price had dropped so low, people are angry and dumping their units of stocks and swear never invest again, smart investors will seize the opportunity to accumulate stocks in just a matter of time at a cheap price. When the stock goes uptrend, these people will think it is a potential stocks and started buying. those smart investors however will look at this as opportunity and started selling. XD

Good luck guys.

Except index linked counters, many stocks had dropped more than 40~50%.
TunePro from above 140 to around 70;
Sasbadi from 80 to 31;
etc.

I forecast it will up soon. However, I can't confirm since the 50 days simple moving index is still not above the 150 days simple moving index. Yes, it is a good buy and worth to invest on.

@jibbie always got risks of losing in shares investment, although people look at potential gains when invest. Must review and take back some lessons here, since you paid the tuition fees..
anyway, the DBS fund invested at 50 sen, and now maybe av to 40 sen, all is not lost. May take time some time but looks like Sasbadi will be around , wont go under just yet, with its recent contracts with MOE. meantime, if you prefer to stick with it, could monitor th trading opportunities, like the recent low of 30 sen bottom, before it rebounded. easier said than done, as when it was at 30sen, it looked like, will plunge further..

thanks @stklearner. i have been holding since pre-bonus issue. reason i bought this was because my children use a lot of sasbadi books. And when i entered, the company looked like a good company - decent ROE, healthy cash flows. Really didnt expect the price to drop so drastically. Sold off half to raise money elsewhere but that didnt work out as well.

Btw, what do you mean by DBS fund invested at 50sen? I'm not aware of any funds buying sasbadi shares

latest update, says they cut loss and remove from model porfolio..i remember, Sasbadi was in the growth portfolio, at 50 sen entry price, when i first look here, Anyway, DBS could still have some stks and hope they will trade it up , to exit.
