I-bella only have 2 clinic with currently PAT RM2.9m and NTA RM4m. Feel like overvalue with 70m. During IPO DCHCare mention that to open a new clinic is about RM1m plus only. now they buy clinic with RM35m each. People can sell kosong clinic to DCHCare then setup a new clinic and call back the old royal client.
Acquisition of I Bella is based on 2 perspectives, (a) To enhance the DCHCARE growth rate and momentum..(b) To turn a strong competitor into a team member (在兵法里,这可是最高境界的手段...Turn a strong enemy into one of own soldiers)
acquisition is fastest way to grow only if acquire at reasonable price. old clinic can retain their royal customer or not is much depend on the doctor in that clinic. unlike retail shop, who is the seller not much different. but in clinic, patient or customer tend to follow their doctor. unless can make sure the doctor now working in I bella will remain in there for long term.
DCHCARE ,13 clinic valued at 19 million per clinic , earning about 740k per clinic ( based on IPO price of 25 Sen), I Bella , 2 clinic valued at 35 million per clinic , earning about 1.45 million per clinic ...which one is cheaper ? Calculate yourself ...
Yes. Buying the 2 Bella clinics for the large sum of money is fork out is something to chew on. Clinics unlike retail stores are different. Clients loyalty tend to gyrate towards the doctor on a personal touch.
speaking as someone from this industry, this acquisition is very fishy, like someone said... using 30+mil for a clinic is bonkers plus bella clinic isnt a very famous franchise and the entry level to setup an aesthetic clinic is surprisingly easy, hence alot of competition nowadays this kind of IPO is just to enrich themselves at the cost of retail investors
100% agreed, this type of boss is too selfish, it seem like they listed their company is to get money from public to benefit their ownself, they have no intention to work for the shareholder. Better avoid.
as long as you hold, they will continue selling, once y'all cut losses, they will buy back the shares, give esos and bonuses, later pump back for you to buy higher
its not easy to make big profit from aesthetic business, need years to earn couple million, dealing with stock market and ipo's can make few millions in just months, then can retired, no need to cut people face anymore, life is beautiful
business is saturated due to multiple offerings by competition. With 70mil you can open up more than just 2 clinics and hire better talent. So what's so special about this Bella clinic?
if u use 30mil on yr own business, u probably can open more than 20 clinics (conservative estimation), take more market share than that 3 clinic... simple logic.. totally not worth it
13 clinics. Market cap 370million. Roughly rm28 m per clinic. Just to get 10% returns, the clinic has to earn rm2.8 m per year per clinic. Impossible numbers. SELL
when company goes public, as shareholders and directors you only entitle for salary, allowance and remuneration, plus bonuses o dividend, this to be earned on monthly or yearly basis
but by buying other company over its core values asset, you can deal backdoor money, lets say extra 10m out of this deal and this money will directly go to his pocket
in this world, no one would like to share his business unless that business can make him richer faster
I think it's due to the acquisition of I Bella... However, the acquisition is partially financed through the issuance of shares at 58 cents each, so it's a premium over the current share price. Can say it's a untung for DC healthcare
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
