don't know whether pple dare to short a lot on KLCI... anytime, BNM will have interest rate decision, and if they increase interest rate by little bit, ringgit will up, banks will up, then short will get caught... previous years, BNM's calendar is usually mid Jan or early Feb on Friday...

true also ... if market is weak and then a particular counter is doing otherwise, then index is irrelevant !! but generally, most counters will move in-sync no ?? that's why see a lot of counters also doing what CI is doing lately aka the probable zigzag pattern pullback ..

guess if short-term traders want to short, they can set stop loss at previous swing high on 1H (1828) and then let the price action take care of the rest :)

connieL regarding on this, if u did monitor a stock like umw, it doesn't retreat much when market is doing bad whereas in opposite, this umw just shoot up like nobody. taken profit yesterday and reeneter this umw, been speculating this stock crazily, no sign of correction

thenewbee .. umw is typical of rchi's fav !! very strong momentum with price hugging 5EMA on daily to advance .. good run so far but if one wants to protect profits, perhaps it's not a bad idea to use 1H to trail .. and also 1H to re-enter when the underlying trend resumes .. a counter with such momentum is hard to see its more detailed price actions on the daily chart .. anyways, it all depends what time-frame u are trading !! to some, 1H movements are merely noise and nothing else :)

haha, die many rounds before u dunno nia. now learning from real sifu. better a bit. hsif is a wild horse to ride. sifu also fall from bike sometime..haha.
anyhow, we used to have group who robbed banks together but now disband d, newbee was one of us too but and also the 1st to jump boat..haha. wont share too much about hsif because it's a dangerous trade.
