Despite Tesla enjoying the glory of been 'Apple of EVs', but until today, Tesla yet to manufacturer it's own battery despite the much anticipateed 4860 format!
BYU on the other hand, already mass produced its' very own blade battery! BYD basically produce A to Z for its' own EVs! While Tesla still very much rely on so many battery providers from South Korea to China! In the long run, Tesla will not be able to compete against BYD or even other EV manufacturers that have their own battery!
Even in Malaysia, BYD already able to sell half the price of Tesla for the same range!
Soon, BYD will drop its' sub 100k EVs too! BYD will definately outpace and remain a dominant player not only in China but the rest of the world!
BYD also already outpace the number of EVs produced compare to Tesla despite Tesla having so many gigafactory around the world! The hype that Tesla has built will be no use if it cannot bring about it's very own battery on commercial mass production scale! Tesla is perhaps already behind BYD in many ways!

A decade ago, Elon Musk laughed at BYD when a journalist ask him about BYD! Today, Elon barely able to joke about BYD! It's just plain clear that Tesla is no match to BYD production prowess!
