Lol. 3.50 is high ambition. It's good enough for me if it can break 52 weeks high within these 2 months

Quite a number of companies declare ESOS lately...

Covered my losses with Karex. So I am still fine. But I am still not happy with the company's latest quarterly results. Quite disappointing. Management guided lower in 1Q 2023

Stocks swinging 10% every month is normal. Why worry @cheeseburger?

Continue to add on Kawan Food. Fundamental remains the same, company has exceptional product mix and frozen food business is extremely resilient
2022-12-19 10:14
Good choice for Kawan to stop the expansion for now

Maintaining healthy cash flow is a smart move during this kind of market situation
2022-12-21 18:23
Old news already, Kawan management has mentioned about it a long time ago
2022-12-31 22:34
Not really exciting news for existing shareholders. I don't really like this
2022-12-31 22:35
Good for Kawan's cash flow as well. Smart move for not making expansion during this kind of wobbly economy

Power Root and F&B companies mostly reported stellar earnings. Hard to imagine if Kawan Food cannot follow

Recession is coming for the US and every country dependent on the US. There is no way to avoid it. Avoid energy stocks and go overweight on F&B

BN: People started eating at home more due to Covid. Do you think that trend will stick?
Sean Connoly, CEO of Conagra (one of the industry leaders in frozen food industry): If you look at every generation, when people grow up, they get out of college, they've got a significant other, they get their first place to live on their own. That means they've got their first kitchen, they start buying stuff, they start fiddling with food, developing some basic skills. Maybe kids come. Consumption of food at home goes up and up. In the pandemic, by our estimation, about five years of natural evolution happened all at once. So, for example, if you're 20 and you've never made an omelet and you try to make an omelet in a nonstick pan without a can of Pam, good luck. Have fun cleaning that pan. So, we had kids basically figuring that out.

BN: Was there a big education curve to get people on board with more frozen food?
Sean Connoly: We knew people were going to be in the frozen section because there's stuff there that they have to buy, whether it's a bag of vegetables or a frozen pizza or a gallon of ice cream. But we learned a number of years ago that the provocativeness of your package design is a hugely important factor in getting the consumer to pause, look at your offering and say, wow, that is intriguing. A lot of the focus in making these innovations work is not just designing the food, but it's designing the package.

Higher export sales in the next few quarters and diverse product mix. This is a great time for Kawan Food shareholders.
Kawan Food > Power Root because Kawan Food has more superior products and diverse customer base.
