Went to ICap investor Day where Dr Kenneth sahre his insight of O&G future and why its still a major source of eneryg for yearsss to come.....its just briliant. IMO, theres still huge upside potential for Hibi and he shall know it very well. Just wasted, due to time contraint, he unable to complete this prepared slide for more sharing on Hibi during that day.

Proven again that sanctions never ever worked, as with past sanctions. https://www.ft.com/content/09e8ee14-a665-4644-8ec5-5972070463ad

…to prevent tail gaters: Drill a hole in an object that could cause damage to the vehicle behind you, like a tool box for example if you drive a pick up. Secure it to the bed to prevent it from actually falling off, but loose enough to make the tail gater think it will, and strike their car. Watch how fast they back off and give you room. HAHAHAHA.

sea-change is a complete transformation, a radical change of direction and in the economic world, we're going through one right now.

Oil price is very volatile lately ...
https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/oil-prices-ease-demand-concerns-outweigh-supply-cuts-prospect-2023-11-21/
6 days ago
Share price won't move regardless of how much the company earns. Minor shareholder like us can only see the cash pile swells above the market cap while the share price dives in tandem with oil price. SBB is not being executed. Dividend is meagre. I wonder Wats in the mind of the management now
6 days ago
Foreign funds don't even wanna consider buying a stock with less than 3% dividend. It's so obvious either there is massive growth in revenue or massive dividend to support higher PE. With oil price lingering at this area, those inventories building up, dwindling demand, I don't see any good return for my portfolio. The management please acknowledge this and do us a favour
5 days ago
Need to raise out this dividend matter during its next AGM then ... Propose them to implement at least 30% dividend policy 😄
4 days ago
Agreed. Or at least carry out the SBB. Do something to make the company worth it's value. SBB is a tool to prevent share price being undervalued. Please use it not just always renewal of mandate during AGM.
Yes agree. My investment standing still. 3% return is a loss when you look at inflation and what I could get with the banks. Not sure why they want to hoard so much cash. Would expect at least 10% dividend given oil is ultimately going to move into decline so surprised they aren’t coming to the party yet.
Hoarding the cash for new oil project which might just churn out lesser and lesser yield? I might not know how's the demand and supply right now but then oil price and inventories are pointing towards surplus. So why reserve so much cash for CAPEX?
Yes, unless they’re making it very attractive for a take over .. even then they could still be more generous.. they can’t take it with them 😉

Making 150 mil in Q1, 500 mil FY reasonable? So currently traded at PE less than 5???
Kahhoeng, u need twynstar analysis to know the range of PAT for FY2024. But nevertheless, it's a sure thing 500mil unless oil price dives to below 75 and stagnant there for months. But nobody can predict the oil price direction accurately. So far we are on the wrong track and looking at the price this morning, u know the consolidation exercise has been nth but a total failure

Btw, stocks in bursa are all miserable. Most massive profitable companies are having a PE below 10 for all sectors. Isn't it intriguing considering other indexes over the whole world are performing better than us.

Almost breaching RM 2.5. such a shame this company. Not doing anything just letting it's share price break new psychological barrier again and again.

And those directors are enjoying their huge fee and mega perks. Now with their medical needs taken care, they can live forever.

seems like people losing confidence with hibiscus management. Only this oil counter dropping so much
21 hours ago
It's gonna be the first oil company with PE <4. This sums out how bad the management in dealing with it's share price. I'm super disappointed as they just don't give a **** to us
21 hours ago
it is surprising to see the highest average holding is 2.70..... and next around 2.38 level!
Isn't it a coincidence today is the expiry of c49 warrant. See how much pressing can be done and this kind of volatility will always persist without SBB.
Yes, very disappointing.. oils stabilised and will probably go back up and Hibiscus is being dumped despite a fantastic quarter, and management yet again do nothing to stabilise the price. No SBB and pitiful dividends.. not sure what they are trying to achieve here, especially as senior management own significant stakes in the business. Wouldn’t they want more out of it! Still I guess there’s an opportunity approaching to acquire more ..
The only company that share price stagnant since 2018 while cash pile hits 1 billion mark while revenue x3. I guess the management ready to buy themselves another few lots since they have been acquiring at around the 2.65 mark. But for ordinary ppl like us there's no bullets left
14 hours ago
I dont understand why price keep falling while oil price steady. Management need to do something and yes at current condition it is really disappointing for shareholders.
As mentioned, hibiscus c49 warrant expires today. So for the past 5 days, price has to be pressed as the average of these 5 days will determine the final price of the warrant. Next warrant due is in feb. So hopefully from now on till Feb it will be on an uptrend. However the management can still take 100 mill for SBB. It will only be 5% of the market cap. But this 100 mill is at least the total volume of 15 trading days. Easily can push up to RM 3.5.
Hibiscus is actually more fun pre consolidation. I still do a reverse conversion mentally as I watch this counter, perhaps I should stop doing this
9 hours ago
Agreed, and quite easy to trade its warrants as well before the conslidation
41 minutes ago
Management said consolidation is to reduce volatility in price and to allow certain fund house to enter. Both target didn't achieve. The only outcome from post consolidation is to stimulate our brain in doing conversion
