Aiyo oil price now still so much higher than 2017-2019, where got low. Production volume also higher but crude oil mix has dropped to 50% and 50% gas. Only thing lower is the share price of Hibiscus vs that period.

when main stream media say sell . u better do opposite . Most of the time , they pay to write up story so that fund manager can collect cheap . It is better look at the chart to determine entry than reading news to decide buy or sell.

if you compare Hibiscus price with Brentcrude, this current price is when Brent is around 70usd. Either the market is over-reacting or this is washing weak holders? Hibiscus makes profit when Brent is 65usd and above..... unless it slips below that i don't think there should be panic sell. but might need to wait for now with Trumps new policy!

Wow Public Bank gave such a low target price for Hibiscus. That is back to Covid days! just horrible. The only catalyst is to wait for the China recovery

If oil below USD70 it will be very bad for upstream oil and gas companies. Hopefully not.

The price of hibiscus is partly due to the short selling by funds. Similar to the gloves shorting past years. Difference in situation is Hibiscus capacity is expanding n making good cashflows while the glove making are cutting the capacity due to oversupply. Look at what the price Harta now, is almost 100% increased. Same will happen here but maybe more.

Production is 16kbbl/d due to various unplanned and planned maintenance. Production has from Oct onwards increase to 27kbbl/d. It's so easy to project it's profit based on production. Basically even at current low Brent price, profit will top 100-120 mill/qr. Most importantly cash flow didn't even drop but increase after the acquisition which strongly suggests that all future and ongoing projects will be carried out

based on this current price 1.90, it is around 0.75 before consolidation. During covid time, when Brent was 65 per barrel it was around 0.66. Imagine with the expansion of business and increase in Brent but the price is only 0.75. Undervalued

This hibiscus is a marathon stock. We knew it's undervalued. We knew the company is doing SBB aggressively by which they have accumulated almost 5% from open market so far. It's always a matter of time before the shorties, traders and gut-less minority realise it's impossible to push it down somemore

Management team started mentioning " privatization, mergers or takeover" due to extremely undervalued

STFUrr88

Good to know twynstar. At current rate of SBB, easily by next qr the total amount of SBB will be more than 10%. Anything would be possible with minimal amount of floating shares in the market and such a depressed share price will only make everything more feasible be it privatisation or takeover.

natural gas has started flying high, anyone knows how this contribute to profit?

STFUrr88

Yes. Next qr u shall see hibiscus reap the reward from it's expansion

India, Africa, South America will continue to use more oil and coal. While develop countries will need more natural gas for power generation if they want to use more EV while using more petrol n diesel hybrids. China will use more of both.

STFUrr88

Management just did one of the greatest SBB today breaching 1 million units. Today's trading volume has shrunken below 4 million units. Let the SBB move continue. I believe by wiping out 10% of floating shares in the open market will push the price above 3 easily

Alextan916

Hopefully they will decide to wipe off the share buybacks units or distribute to shareholder as bonus

Does anyone know what happens to the share price if Hibiscus cancels the treasury shares. Is the share price then reset upwards in accordance to the proportion cancelled so the market cap remains the same? Also - with the renewal of the mandate to continue to buy up to 10% each year is that 10% of the share remaining in the market excluding those already bought into hibiscus treasury?
