Berjaya Retail Berhad (B-Retail) is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. Through its subsidiaries, B-Retail is engaged in th operation of a chain of convenience stores under the 7-Eleven brand name, and marketing and direct selling of consumer durables with installment option schemes. The subsidiaries of B-Retail are 7-Eleven Malaysia Sdn Bhd (7-Eleven), Convenience Shopping (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, 7 Properties Sdn Bhd, Teluk Juara Sdn Bhd, Singer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Singer) and Biofield Sdn Bhd. Singer's portfolio of products include home appliances, including televisions, air-conditioners, home theater systems, refrigerators, washing machines, furniture and motorcycles, among others. Singer has approximately 3,500 independent sales agents and a total of 561 branches operating under the Singer brand name in East and West Malaysia. As of May 18, 2010, 7-Eleven had a chain of 1,127 stores throughout Malaysia.
