Reason	SAM purchased in aggregate 1,587,000 ordinary shares of LKT Industrial Berahd ("Shares") representing approximately 2.30% of the issued Shares comprising (i) 760,000 Shares purchased at RM3.2766 per Share on 2 Oct 2007, (ii) 445,000 Shares purchased at RM3.3037 per Share on 3 Oct 2007, and (iii) 282,000 Shares purchased at RM3.2983 per Share at 4 Oct 2007; and (iv) 100,000 Shares purchased at RM3.3104 per Share on 5 October 2007. In addition, as at 26 Sep 2007, SAM had an interest in 31,080,243 Shares representing approximately 45% of the issued Shares comprising (i) 3,901,600 Shares purchased by SAM, and (ii) 27,178,643 ordinary shares which SAM's wholly owned subsidiary, Singapore Precision Engineering Pte Ltd ("SPE") had agreed to purchase pursuant to conditional Share Purchase Agreements. SAM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Accuron Technologies Limited which is in turn a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek. Therefore, as at the date od this notice, Temasek is deemed by virtue of section 6A(4)(b) of the Companies Act to have an interest in 32,667,243 Shares representing 47.29% of the issued Shares held by or in which SAM is deemed to have an interest through SPE.
