The breakdown of value investing.

In recent times, we have seen the clear breakdown of value investing. The evidence is clear, only the opinions are not clear.

From the breakdown of glove shares, the break down of KYY's quarter X 4 and single digit PE, the struggles of steel shares,  the struggles of blue chips.

Many things you can say like cyclical, future cloudy, past their best times, country falling out of favor, liquidity and confidence crisis, political crisis. . But when glove shares make billions of dollars and share prices just ignores the billions of cash and profits , its very disheartening, not encouraging at all, and bad for the moral of management and companies working hard making the billions of dollars.

Yet, if your companies  are in the favoured sectors, you don't need to show profits and your shares are handsomely rewarded.

Isn't this the breakdown of value investing? Why keep doing things and not being rewarded. Why not instead  just join in the game? But if no one is managing the companies, it cannot be good for the country or for society.

and the conclusion?     no one wants to give up value investing because the implication of giving up  value investing is disastrous. ..........but why should u give a moral judgement to it?    let those with lots of money give it a moral dimension., For me, reality is observation and observation is reality.

This is more like the breakdown of government suka suka change policy of cukai Makmur, tax on foreign income and increase stamp duty for year 2022. Who know what will be the addition tax come 2023?

Malaysia is on the rot. Many investors are moving to foreign stock exchange and many more profitable companies will also relocate to other countries.

Yes indeed it is very disheartening, not encouraging at all when you work hard to earn your hard earned money and government just simply tax you and spend the tax payers money to enrich coronies and rewarded those favored ...

孙中山提出的四大主张“人能尽其才、地能尽其利、物能尽其用、货能畅其流”

When will a statesman/stateswoman become our PM?

As value investing break down, u got 2 good options and one bad option. You can look for greener pasture else where, u can join in the game...and a bad option of sticking it out. Sticking it out, value investing will come back in vogue one day but you may not be around to enjoy it.

ss, did Insas go up because Inari did well or because value investing works?

Insas price up or down is by preception and sentiment or maybe due to Lu tau boh (stockriader new nickname) untired promotion in i3 forum.

Philip ( buy what you understand)

Just because you value ql overpriced at 11 billion doesn't mean everyone bought ql at 11 billion. Once upon a time ql was a 500 million company which today giving out 57 million in earnings.

Those who bought ql when it was worth 600 million have a far longer term view than you do.
