IT is my prayer that the candidates for Bera, Tambun, Bagan Datuk, Semborong, Langkawi, Pagoh, Gua Musang, Marang, Gombak, Larut, Pekan, and all candidates above 55 years old, will all lose their seats, and their deposits, in the upcoming 15th General Election (GE15) on Nov 19, 2022.

All newly-enfranchised young people should turn up in droves at GE15 to vote out all politicians perceived to be racists, unprincipled, frogs, dishonest or bigots. You have the power to make change happen in Malaysia. Get off your butts, and make the sacred effort to cast your votes.

Cast your votes wisely. Then, we can have a reset in Parliament, governance, and in the major national policies of Malaysia, especially policies on education, on trilingualism for Malaysia, on meritocracy, replacing the NEP with a needs-based policy (NBP), reducing the overbearing presence of government in business and the private sector, reducing the size and cost of the civil service and the cabinet, and dialling back a bit on matters of the afterlife, while focusing a little bit more, on matters of the here and now.

Education policy is the most alarming

While the Government forces upon Malaysians their brand of education, most, if not all senior politicians, ministers, well-to-do individuals, and senior civil servants, send their own children to international schools, and even overseas for their education. There was even a minister who sent his toddler to a kindergarten in Paris.

The Chinese have completely lost faith in the national education system, and most of them send their kids to Chinese-medium schools or international schools in Malaysia.

In fact, the inept caretaker education minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin told Parliament that in 2010, 9.5% of the students in Chinese schools were Malays, and by 2020, the number increased to 15.33%, which means, even the Malays are losing faith in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) or national schools.

As for the racial composition in all private schools nationwide in 2020, the bulk were Chinese students (65.88%) followed by Malay and non-Malay Bumiputera students (26.96%). The poor Malays, can only send their children to national schools.

Which is why, in 2020, 94% of the students in national schools, were Malays, and less than 1% were Chinese, while Indians and other races comprised around 5%.

So, in the minds of Malaysians, something is definitely not right with national schools.

More than a year ago, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic when Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin was the prime minister (PM), I made a video that suggested that we should have a female prime minister.

I still think it would be amazing if we can have Nurul Izzah Anwar, Rafizi Ramli or even Yeo Bee Yin as our next PM. I see these young politicians as the hope for Malaysia.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is more of the same. If he is a true leader, he will step aside and push Nurul, or Rafizi, to be the prime minister if PH wins the next general election.

Sadly, he is so obsessed with becoming PM that he will never step aside, which is why I hope voters will make the decision for him. I predict the young Syed Saddiq is a future prime minister in waiting.

What? You say young people are inexperienced?

Well, experience is merely the name people give to their mistakes. I say, toss young people into the deep end, and they will quickly gain experience.

Stay the straight and narrow course of honour, honesty, integrity, and morality, and they will be alright, and may even excel, as no previous PM of Malaysia has ever excelled.

They are certainly much more palatable than many of the tainted politicians we have had in the last few parliaments.

I put the blame on the policies of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad for the brief promising rise, and the steep dive of Malaysia into ignominy. The jailed former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was of course the hand that twisted the sword in the poor heart of Malaysia.

My belief is that most of the current crop of elderly Malaysian politicians are not only untrustworthy, but they are also quite incompetent, lazy and dishonest hypocrites. Let’s vote all of them out to begin the process for a new Malaysia.

Moreover, I’m impressed with the ideals and potential of many of our young politicians like Syed Saddiq and MUDA.

After all, an Indian is now the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, so what’s so objectionable about having a Malaysian woman, no matter her race, creed or colour, as the PM of Malaysia?

What is so wrong with having Yeo Bee Yin as PM of Malaysia? For goodness’ sake, these are all Malaysians, and morally upright, competent Malaysians at that.

Are the Malays so insecure that they should fear a Malaysian Chinese PM who will go rogue?

Come on, get real. Najib is a Malay, and in jail for his crimes against the nation.

Do you seriously think a Malaysian Chinese PM can go rogue, and get away with it? Malays need to wake up.

The BN government has thoroughly brainwashed the Malays into a state of self-destructive xenophobia to suit their political agenda.

PAS has abused religion to divide Malaysians rather than to unite them. Throughout history, religion has often been used as a tool to create intolerance, hatred, ignorance, and violence. And the religion-based parties in Malaysia are doing exactly that.

Come on all you young people! Go out and cast your votes on Nov 19

Vote for inclusivity. Reject the racists, the bigots, the hypocrites, the kleptocrats and the unprincipled. You know who they are. Vote wisely. You can make a difference for the future of our Malaysia.

A woman PM, or even Rafizi, cannot be any worse than all of our past PMs, who have caused us to be left behind Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong, with their flawed race- and religion-based policies.

Now, even Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand are sprinting ahead of Malaysia. — Nov 2, 2022
