KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 13): YTL Corp Bhd and YTL Power International Bhd have been included into the MSCI Malaysia Index, while Dialog Group Bhd have been removed from the index, effective from Feb 29.

In a statement on Monday, MSCI listed the inclusions and deletion.

The MSCI Malaysia Investable Market Index is designed to measure the performance of the large-, mid- and small-cap segments of the Malaysian market. With 94 constituents, the index covers about 99% of the Malaysian equity universe.

According to the MSCI website, the MSCI Malaysia Index dipped 0.41% in 2023.

The top 10 constituents are Public Bank Bhd, Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank), CIMB Group Holdings Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd, Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd, Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd, CelcomDigi Bhd, Petronas Gas Bhd, IHH Healthcare Bhd and Hong Leong Bank Bhd.
