Hi Guys,

I have An Investment Approach I which I would like to all.

My Very Dear Fellow Investors In The Pathway and Highway of Life,

Today is Sunday again! And I am most happy in the LORD's Day. The LORD;s Day is indeed a happy day of rest & gladness!

And did you go to Church to hear Sermon? Never mind if you didn't. Here is an important message for all from the Bible.

Today's text is taken from Proverbs 22:3 (KJV 1611)

"A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: the simple pass on and are punished".

This verse is in Old English from KJV (King James Version published in 1611 AD)

Let's look at Calvin's translation from the Hebrew text.

:A prudent man foresees the evil, and hides himself: the simpleton pass on and suffer losses"

Now look other translations

Parallel Verses

English Revised Version

Webster's Bible Translation

World English Bible
A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.

Young's Literal Translation
The prudent hath seen the evil, he is hidden, The simple have passed on, they are punished.

Whoa! So many different translations from the Original Hebrew text.

All points to these

1) A prudent man is also a sensible, cunning, shrewd man.

2) A prudent man foresees the evil, trouble  or danger,

3) Foresees danger and hides, takes refuge or takes cover or take precautions

4) But the simple, simpleton, fools,  gulliible or naive ones

5) But the simpleton pass on and "are punished, suffer for it, suffer losses, hurt by it, pay the penalty or suffers the consequences

Ha! These two bring out the truth more clearly

Parallel Verses
New International Version
The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

New Living Translation
A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

Now look at the definition of a simpleton

simpleton
ˈsɪmp(ə)lt(ə)n/
noun
  1. a foolish or gullible person.
"stop grinning at me like a simpleton"
    synonyms: foolnincompoopduncedullardignoramus

Now for the exposition.

A prudent person not only see the immediate. He Foresees

The defintion of "foresee"

foresee
fɔːˈsiː/
verb
  1. be aware of beforehand; predict.
"we did not foresee any difficulties"
    synonyms: anticipatepredictforecastexpectenvisageenvisionsee, think likely;

We must foresee by "looking further ahead". Example if you can see that there is a huge traffic jam building up ahead and you are in a rush for time. Try to exit and find another road with less traffic. If you get caught up. Then you might miss your appointment.

If water dept says they will cut water supply in 2 days time. Common sense tells you to store up water.

Last time Calvin SAW SHALE OIL BEING PRODUCED MASSIVELY IN NORTH DAKOTA. So Calvin warned Uncle KYY to sell Jtiasa at Rm2.70 as Shale Oil will hammer both crude oil & biodiesel (palm oil).

See

 Posted by calvintaneng > Nov 11, 2014 12:14 AM Report Abuse X

Actually the warning signs have been there for quite some time already:

1) Surplus Shale Oil from North Dakota is hammering crude oil
2) Saudi borrowed to the hilt cannot cut back production to support prices
3) Surplus Corn oil, Soy Oil & Palm Oil add further weakness to biodiesel
4) The convergence of these negative factors have sent a chill down the spine of Petronas - thus causing heart attacks among weaker Oil & Gas Counters!

5) Should have taken heed to sell off earlier

The Bible says, "A prudent man foresees the evil and hides himself; the simple pass on and are punished".

This above post was dated Nov 11, 2014

And so those who did not take heed suffered 60% loss when Jtiasa fell from Rm2.70 to less than Rm1.10 later.

Calvin not only Foresee danger emanating from outside sources beyond our control. Calvin also Foresaw the danger from Syndicates Catching Simpleton, gullible, fools & naive sorchai in i3 forum.

Syndicates and comman were first taught me by Great Champion Master Sifu Dr. Neoh Soon Kean in his book called

STOCK MARKET INVESTMENT Published in 1985

He said that Bursa is cornered by sharks, syndicates or conman. I was very surprised then. Now I know by experience as I confronted these syndicates one by one in i3 Forum

See

It was Mikekong55 who joined with syndicates to con so many simpleton in Regain Capital Choco Passenger Ship Forum. Syndicates instructed him to change ID to Newman & con even more naive newbies.

The whole pirated ship sunk & all drowned there

At its last moments people called one another conman

Another verse about simple or simpleton

The simpleton believes every word: but the prudent man carefully considers his ways.

King James Version
The simple believeth every word: but the prudent man looketh well to his going.

Darby Bible Translation
The simple believeth every word; but the prudent man heedeth his going.

World English Bible
A simple man believes everything, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways.

Young's Literal Translation
The simple giveth credence to everything, And the prudent attendeth to his step.

It is very naive to just accept the opinions of majority without thinking independently.

Group thinking with mass emotions have swept so many in the euphoria of rising stock prices!

Listen to the wise words of Dr. Neoh

"We have found the enemy, they is us ---Pogo" (Quoted by Dr. Neoh)

Dr. Neoh called these syndicates Jaws 1, Jaw2 , Jaws 3 & so forth

THE CONGLOMERATE GAME (JAWS 11) By Dr. Neoh (pp 23)

As has been said before, the value a speculator places on a stock (or a tulip) does not necessarily depend on anything which is tangible. Rather, it depends on the image or fantasy the investor may have of a particular stock.

A company that is continually in the public eye (a result of a continuous stream of announcement of bonus, rights, takeovers and profit forecasts, etc) is that much more likely to become the object of such a fantasy.

In the same way, an actress who is always in the news is far more likely to become the object of a man's fantasy. Stocks of such companies are far more 'attractive' and are likely to be bidded up to a far higher level than the dull 'never-anything-happens' type of companies.

When a market is rising, everyone who goes in makes some profit and he is encouraged to make further purchases. However, the continuous price increase cannot go on forever. At some point, the amount of money tied up is so high ... that the buyer who buys in anticipation of a further rise will be forced to sell soon if the market is not going up. Once the market sees that a share has stopped rising, the opposite goes into effect. The intending buyer will delay buying hoping that the price will fall further. This causes the weak intending seller to lower his price again. A sprial of forced selling at low prices is thus started and it tends to continue at ever increasing speed until eventually much, if not all, of the earlier rise is completely erased (pp 16)

Calvin comments:

So who have been conned by the "bonus, rights, warrants" of Fiamma? And now Gadang? And other high flying hot stocks chased to peak prices?

Remember these words,

"The simpleton believes every word, but the prudent man carefully considers his ways"

Another word for simpleton is a fool

A fool and his money are soon parted

Have a nice day

Regards,

Calvin Tan

Yes,

As for buying export stocks due to strong US Dollar?

If everything is as usual then "yes".

But we are now in unusual time.

Since Donald Trump has already promised in his Election Manifesto

1) JOBS for Americans first
2) Encourage US Factories relocation to USA or Impose heavy tax.
3) Amnesty for Monies of US Companies (Trillions) tax reduced from 35% to only 10% if they repatriate back Funds to USA
4) Imposing 45% tax on China goods

Yet to be seen. These actions sound like deglobalization, isolation & protectionism.

However,

Trump has installed hardliners in his cabinet. So the direction is toward a tough position

Will Trump also tax all other imports of EM? That means Malaysian exports to the US will also face higher taxes.

So just like 6% GST Tax in Malaysia sucked the profits from Malaysian Companies - US taxes will also impact the performance of Malaysian exporting companies.

Now as things still not clear.

Wait first lah before simply buying export stocks.

If got heavy rain or thunderstorm outside? Why drive and endanger yourself.

Stay safe at home and wait lah!

Only invest when there is better clarity.

So wait until Trump is officially installed in the White House.

Big mouth Calvin shouts his message everyday. Even a casual reader like myself can't help but notice his buy calls for Iskandar properties, DRB, MRCB etc. And of course his sell call for Airasia.

He keeps pummelling my mind, I don't want to listen, but he shouts so loud and so often and so confidently. Sell NOW, he says, I am a fool if I don't do it. OK, I will believe him, and sell all my Airasia.

But what happens when his call is wrong.

There will be a single small comment somewhere in another thread, saying maybe he mistook the news or data. No apology, no redress. I am then the fool who believed him. No one forced me to follow him, he will say.

To you Calvin, just say something ONCE, then shut up already.

This one below not true at all:

And now Airasia!

Airasia has no pricing power.

A return AirAsia tickets from Singapore to KL cost only S$136.

This is the Air Ticket price 20 years ago when I jet from Spore to KL monthly. While Air planes cost have gone up. And Ringgit was One USD for Rm2.40 then. Now One USD is Rm4.41 (still weakening)

SO CALVIN'S CALL TO SELL AIRASIA IS STILL ON COURSE!

2016-11-20 19:58

John Lu

You shout to sell Airasia when 1.70 and its goes up to 3.20 and you keep shout selling when its 1.80, 2.00, 2.20 and 2.50...Now AirAsia rebound to 2.72 when u shout sell at 2.53...how many times you give the wrong call...stupid

Yes ar?

I also shouted sell for Ifca at Rm1.00

Ifca also went up from Rm1.00 to Rm1.87

And then?

Then then then!!

IFCA crashed from Rm1.87 to only 32 cts now!

So like this

Calvin tells all not to jump from 17 floor

So so they climb up higher and higher to 25 floors or 30 floors

How then?

If they jump from 17th floor better or 30th floor better?

but when he mislead and omit facts and pull figures from the sky and give a fantasy like story to mislead others...this is just bad karma

calvin, we have nothing more to say to you except one day, u will get your dues, bible or not, karma will come back to you for misleading so many ppl.

u can continue to be in self denial n pretend u are a saint...
