Hi guys,
I live in Singapore. So I have a different perspective than you guys in Malaysia. Until May 9, 2018 both Govt & Opposition Camps are caught up in the GE14 Election. But remember these words, "THIS TOO WILL PAST!"
So see beyond May 9th 2018 into THE FUTURE.
And what does the future holds?
Two Things Will Be Certain
1) HIGH SPEED RAIL OF KL TO JOHORE & SINGAPORE.
Why Must It Be So?
Bible Prophecy predicts it
See the Ancient Book of Daniel 12:4
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
2,600 years ago Prophet Daniel alsoi foretold the events of the End Times. Among which are Two Things:
i) AN INCREASE OF WORLD TRAVEL "MANY SHALL RUN TO AND FRO{M}
ii) "KNOWLEDGE SHALL BE INCREASED" LIKE NEVER BEFORE
See how the advancement of Knowledge Led by Silicon Valley. Optic Fiber is made from Silicon. And knowledge is transmitted by the speed of light through Optic Fiber. As I post this messge it is transmitted at the speed of 186,000 miles per second! So all in Singapore, Malaysia, Beijing, Tokyo, New York & London receive the digital messge on their computer screen at the same time. That's how fast knowledge travels today. It took years for Marco Polo to travel from Italy to China in his time.
The First car in KL took One Day to travel from KL to Kelang (about 30 miles). Today A Fast Speed Car can travel from KL to Johor in Less than 3 hours.
And So HSR is not an Option but a Neccessity, or be left behind in the Age of Progress
30 Years Ago Malaysia was more Advance than China. Now no more. China is Criss-Crossed By HSR all over the place.
Countries more backward than Malaysia are having their own High Speed Rail
See
INDONESIA
The Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway project was formally started in Walini, West Java Province of Indonesia on March 2016 and within two months of the implementation of the project, the concessional agreement was signed, which is faster than any other railway project in Indonesia.
HIGH SPEED RAIL IN THAILAND
A train runs through, during the groundbreaking ceremony of the cooperation between Thailand and China on the Bangkok-Nong Khai high speed rail development in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand December 21, 2017. REUTERS/
HIGH SPEED RAIL IN INDIA
SO KL - SINGAPORE HIGH SPEED RAIL IS THE LAST AMONG INDONESIA, THAILAND & INDIA.
SO THERE WILL BE NO DOUBT AS TO HSR. BUT THE NEXT FOCUS IS BANDAR MALAYSIA!!
The MOTHER OF ALL TOD IS BANDAR MALAYSIA IN THE VERY HEART OF WEST MALAYSIA!!
AND AS A LOGICAL PROGRESS OF HSR IT IS THE HEAD AS JURONG EAST IS THE TAIL.
SINGAPORE GOVT HAS ALREADY PREPARED HSR STATION FOR ITS UPCOMING JURONG EAST DISTRICT CALLED THE 2ND ORCHARD ROAD OF SINGAPORE
PROPERTY & LAND PRICES HAVE SPIKED UPWARD IN ANTICIPATION OF THE HSR FROM MALAYSIA.
See
IT WILL BE AN INTEGRATED TRANSPORT HUB
AS JURONG IS THE TAIL END OF THE KL SPORE HSR
BANDAR MALAYSIA WILL BE ITS HEAD!!

NOTICE THE 2 MRT STATIONS:
BANDAR MALAYSIA SOUTH MRT STATION & BANDAR MALAYSIA NORTH MRT STATION
YES THESE ARE THE TWO MRT STATIONS RUNNING RIGHT INTO BANDAR MALAYSIA FROM KWASA DAMANSARA

SO THE BLUEPRINT IS ALREADY OUT IN THE OPEN
AND WHO WILL BE THE WINNER(S) FOR BANDAR MALAYSIA JOB AWARD?
THE POSSIBLE ANSWERS ARE:
MRCB still a 'buy' based on Bandar Malaysia transport hub development
- May 12, 2017 @ 4:10pm
KUALA LUMPUR: AmBank Research says Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd is a 'buy' with a fair value of RM1.89 on the strength of the company's memorandum of understanding to develop an integrated transportation hub in Bandar Malaysia.
The firm said the recent termination of the share sale agreement of a stake in Bandar Malaysia to the IWH-CREC consortium has put the spotlight on MRCB, which is unaffected.
"In January 2017, MRCB signed an MoU with Wondrous Vista Development Sdn Bhd and Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd to develop an integrated transportation hub in Bandar Malaysia.
"We understand that even with the share sale termination, MRCB’s MoU remains intact, as Bandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd is still the registered owner of the land," AmResearch said.
The firm expects MRCB to have a bigger role in Bandar Malaysia's development moving forward based on the company's expertise in transit-oriented developments.
Calvin comments:
Although the MOU between MRCB & BANDAR MALAYSIA has lapsed there is a very high possibility that MRCB will still be awarded some Major Role in Bandar Malaysia because MRCB is Expert in TOD (Transit Oriented Development)

development is good for country growth, but once must think wisely the public transportation are for the benefit of people and indirectly more conducive for the economy not for creating advantage for cronies and burden the country's debts. if the future ticket price will cost you RM400 or more.it will only became the accumulation of debts . if you compare with shanghai to nanking hsr the most expensive fare is less than rm300 only . for singaporeans it is cheap ,but if you must pay s$400 will you still think so?

Henly,
I just posted the facts. i3 forum is a place to share. And all must decide and make own conclusions

wise sheep?
so nice name?
From what i know the cost of construction is lower than China due to its land and wages cost.
So i think ticket for hsr should be priced within means of Malaysians. As for Singaporeans it will be very convenient to visit Kl on the same day and back.
LIVES AND BUSINESSES WILL IMPROVE WITH EASE OF ACCESS AND CONNECTIVITY

Flintstones
Best way to play this theme is own physical land. I have bought a few acres of land in nesr vicinity of the proposed station. Now i just have to wait 15 years for the investment to become a 10 or 20 bagged
