I like Tomypak for the resillent business model and the consistent quarter dividend announcement.
If not mistaken, they had issued Right Issue for expansion plan.

However, I haven't studied the expansion plan and progress in detail yet.

Ezra is a happy man (with some of our members) , gaining a lot of gain from HEVEA ahahahaha

A good share doesn't need to discuss all the time, specially when you are invest mainly on highway concessionaire ... you just keep quiet, and let the motorist pay your dividend to you ... UNLESS there is a change in the motor-vehicle ownership landscape, EKOVEST will generate consistent passive income for you...

* At the current profit , 2014，2015, 2016, Highway generated 89.4m , 93.4m and 123.01m revenue per year. I believe this trend will keep on going higher with the completion of DUKE2...

* Concessionaire of DUKE1, DUKE2, and DUKE3 was @ 34 years, 54 years, and 53.5 years respectively. Hell man that was a really long concession...

I can tell you, in Malaysia, one of the most profitable business will be definitely concessionaire of toll... IRR can easily achieve 80% , take LITRAK as example ...

So I won't expecting giving big dividend, but I hope they can give consistent dividend (like LITRAK) once maturing of asset.

calvintaneng, I believe your result is not "superb" as claimed .

A true trader/investor will reveal his power / foundation of knowledge as he speaks/voice out his/her opinion.

I can point out several things that you try to "hide".

1. You hide your underperformed counter by sugarcoating with your outperformed stock.
2. Your investing method is punting investment (NTA) and hope for the best.
3. You do not talk about your exposure percentage in your winning or losing stock.
4. You do not talk about the strategy of exit , add on , reduce exposure and so on.
5. The only thing you say is "buy, buy if drop more" such thing.

and so on...

I hope that new investor will not follow your footstep blindly to buy your stockpick.

GKENT is indeed a company swimming in tons of cash . fuyoh.

Why you want to swim in a pool filled with shark that wanna swallow your money , squeeze your hard earned Shrinkggit when there were so much other company to pick ?

VenFx, it doesn't matter that the balance sheet is how good.
When share price doesn't deliver, you lose money.

The shareprice must go in tandem with the quality of balance sheet.
If not, well, it is not my investment candidate.

if you know Kerjaya, you will surprised with the effeciency and the SOP they implement which is different than other developer.

Wonder why their profit margin is far way higher than others' ?

No point to buy it.

masterkevin212, lol ... this is a "rather" proxy play of GKENT... I rather invest in GADANG for the MRT2 and LRT3 sub-contract rather than buy JOHAN...

(1) As far as my investment experience, not much , i can tell you, not much of the company with share price of below RM 0.20 can be invested....

(2) for this kind of proxy play, I will not recommend for this kind of play... look at those investor that hold INSAS , that hope for INARI play ... ended up become salted fish.

(3) If you play such tiny stock, prepare to get dumped by the operator, ops, might be you are the hidden operator =P

They are boasting with their future orderbook and so on.
But I still can't foresee the completion of the orderbook and translate it to cash (not profit, CASH... cold hard cash)

William Loh, I would recommend the old school approach recommend by Ezra and paperplane.

But I would recommend you another "active" strategy which will benefit you a lot.
Go to your facebook.
Search for Investment group.
Participate in it.
DISCUSS the share/ company you interest with.
Ask question !
And don't hesitate to post your comment and create a post of discussion !
When people tell you something you don't know, ask , google, check, learn !
This way, is far more better than the old school approach of "read" , because there is "active" element inside.

Peer Assisted Learning is far more superior than just lecture from the school in my humble opinion.

removed the revaluation gain we get a 9.1c profit per year @ this moment.
