Thanks for your kind words. But I think in a market which is full of fear, every stock got hit, and hit hard. It is a matter of how hard. Stocks which have little fundamentals, and have gone up in prices way above their fundamentals will be hit the hardest, now or soon if prices continued to drop and margin calls start. Those stocks which have good fundamentals and bought at cheap price will be hit in lesser force, and eventually they will recover.

I would say the best thing I have been doing is providing my views on the evils of margin financing. This is the time reality steps in.

Just to sum it up. Like KC says, it's not about personality but his honest views on margin financing. Congrats to those who profited from margin financing but it is KC's hope and wish that the newbies especially, should not take this option in view of the high risk. trade and invest according to your affordability. Don't let losses affect your your everyday life - in work or in relationships with family and friends.

I think by this time, most long term investors will be able to see and appreciate KC's efforts in generously sharing his views on value investing. From Day 1, there has never been any recommendation for calls to buy or sell. For those who are under his guidance, I am sure you would reap immense benefits. Do your own assessment.

fortunebullz KC Chong can be very blunt but I have no issues with him evendo we had spat year ago! He even took the challenge of taking Master in Finance which I am sure enrich him further! Charity is subjective thing! In fact KC Chong is the most generous contributor in i3investor! He is not stingy to share his knowledge in FA evendo he is non believer in TA! But that's okay! As long as you get your result! KC Chong is Malaysia very own Ban Fang Li pulling FA rickshaw sharing it for free to all freeloaders in here! He enrich not 300 but perhaps 3 millions in Malaysia! Kadoos old nemesis!

lohman - you are right in that KYY owes KC an apology.

It's been a long time since I last posted some comments. To be fair KKY and KCChong are good people. Yes KYY has done a lot of charitable work and provide his way of investing. KC too is gentleman who just keep sharing his views, albeit from another approach. His strategy is more for long term hold and one can actually see the impressive results of quite a number of stocks which he has highlighted. All this while he has never made the slightest intention to recommend a buy or sell call. Of course everyone has the right to disagree but do with constructively if he does not agree with his computation of the financial ratios. His articles are all so beneficial to investors and traders and if he were to compile all these into a book, I will not hesitate to buy a copy.

Having said that, I feel that KYY's remarks on KC is rather uncalled for. He doesn't need to exaggerate on the price rise of VS. Remember he too has failed big time in Jaya Tiasa etc..

Not surprisingly Ooi Teik Bee shot to the top of the table with a whopping 48% returns, and pushing the previous leader Bs1688 into second spot. lbkeat moved up to 3rd position. tjhldy made a great jump from 12th to occupy the 6th place at the moment.
