paperplane - thanks so much for your willingness to help. At times I need to work late at the end of the month and thus may not be able to do the computation. Shall we come to the following agreement

1) As requested by KW, I will do the computation at the end of the month. However in the event that I am not available I will let you know in advance (either in the morning of the last day of the month or one day earlier). Please check the thread for my postings.

2) If you have the time to come out with the results on a fortnightly basis (though I think it may not be necessary) by all means go ahead.

To Potential Participants - Upon KW's request I have agreed to compute the monthly results of the 2016 Contest on condition that I have time at the end of each month to do it. In this respect those who feel that they are available at the end of the month to come out with the results and are willing to assist KW, I am more than pleased to hand over the task to you. KW - I also thought of that but in a contest the most important criteria is FAIRNESS. Within 2 days the prices may fluctuate drastically and could have an impact in determining the winner especially if the winning margin is very close. It's like running a 100 meter race where a contestant starts 0.01 seconds earlier would definitely have an advantage. So if both contestants are picking the same stock then why should one has an advantage over the other if different closing prices are used.

Since the notice of the notice have been given out earlier Those who are really keen to participate will then have to submit their picks before the specified closing date.

As such I would suggest just let the closing date be at 8 am on 4th January 2016 and any late entries are strictly not accepted. I reckon they should be enough entries for the contest. In the event that there are insufficient entries, just let it be and the contest shall proceed.

KW - I would suggest we
1. Keep the closing date for submission as at 8 am 4th January based on closing prices on 31st Dec
2. In the event that there are insufficient entries received by 8 am 4th January, the deadline will be extended to 8 am 6th January in which then the closing prices as at 5th January shall apply. All earlier entries will also be revised to the closing prices at 5th January to ensure a level playing field.
3, If by 8 am 6th January there are insufficient entries received then the contest will proceed

Profitman - yet gain I would like to seek your reading on Instaco. Looks like the euphoria has settled down after all the announcements. Strictly based on charts, what you reckon it will be ? Thanks

Profitman - if you don't mind I would like to seek your expert advice on the chart readings for Instaco for yet another time. Even though most penny stocks were battered down last week, it was holding well and able to absorb the continuous selling pressure. I expect it to put up a strong performance (possibly with a minor gap up) today - or just my wishful thinking :) Thanks in advance.

Profitman - on Instaco, the momentum was so strong yesterday that instead of locking in some profits I added more (since my core holdings have more than adequate safety margins) and also did some intra-day trading. Thanks again for the reading and projection of target prices. You have been a great help !
