到底「不敢恭維」的是粗暴待客或是『評為公關災難』，作者的意思大概是粗暴待客不敢恭維吧，可是文句卻指向「評為公關災難」是TA不敢恭維的。

The due diligent has been completed! Due diligent means check every bidders' background, got black money or not, source of fund genuine or not, link to terrorist or not, really got money one or bluff only etc.
On 27 March, received all binding bids, so you have A, USD700m for 70%, B USD750m for 75%, C, USD500m for 45% bids like that. Management has to meet to decide on which one is the best for Airasia. It's binding so it has obligation attached, bidders cannot change mind without consequences.
4 to 5 weeks to announce the winner of the bid, that's next week.
Cannot process yet because it has to go through shareholders of Airasia also.
So, then EGM is held.
Maybe the deal is to be completed sometimes in August, receive the $$$$ and transfer the ownership etc.

Next week announce, EGM afterward, complete the deal in Aug.

TF birthday coming in 2 weeks, good news should be around the corner.

4-5 weeks after 27 march is the week beginning 25/4, that is just next week, AAC sale will be announced! Really need a lot of balls to hold c38 till maturity.

My guess is it wouldn't be too bad, since airasia is dirt cheap at 5x PE, may just hold it through!

So, chamlo, the billion dollar question is, assuming the above, airasia make how much in FY17?

1. All macro data suggests a weak malaysian ringgit, but bank negara already cut off all tools avaiable for anyone to make it weak, so the strength of myr is highly correlated to import, export activities.

2. Trump maybe questionable in a lot of decisions he made, but he got means to get things done.

Airasia's profit rises three times last year, the share price won't jump three times overnight, not even three months. Slowly share price will catch up, history has shown that over and over again.

US must strike NK, it's not about choice. NK possess deadly weapon, soon with the ability to strike anywhere in the world at anytime, it must be stopped. The questions remaining are when and with or without China's approval.

The strike on Syria which causes the oil price shock is temporary. The North Korean comflict however is a serious matter. I am glad that Tony had avoided Korea.

Near term still volatile, hope to catch more at lower price.

Bone gor, this share's earning fluctuates and not really undervalued. If not for speculation, then it is a very painful long wait for being taken over.

The best guess for "AAC special dividend" is still around RM0.93, simply because it would give TF and MK RM1B for loan repayment. It could be part of the loan agreement when they did the PP.

Well, its the next logical choice for Airasia. They are smart to avoid Korea.

Well my calculation was 12 cents so i assume its just right, also only C38 escape the 12c "reduction in value" relative to mother share because it would have expired before ex-date.

Official figure in CIMB's portal also 61 cents. So 20% rounded will also be 12c.

Net operating profit is Net profit after tax = RM2,036M. Total Shares = 3341M. So EPS 60.8. 20% gives 12c.
