The Board of Directors of Digistar is pleased to announce that its wholly-subsidiary, Nielsen Ward Sdn Bhd ("NWSB") had received a conditional approval for a Money Lending License ("Business License") from KKB under "Akta Pemberi Pinjam Wang 1951 (Akta 400)" via KKB's letter dated 20 August 2014 received by NWSB on 9 September 2014.


The approval is subject to the fulfillment of all the conditions imposed as stated in KKB's letter dated 20 August 2014 within three (3) months from the date of approval i.e. latest by 20 November 2014.


The Business License will diversify Digistar Gorup’s earnings base and is expected to contribute positively to Digistar Group’s earnings for the financial year ending 30 September 2015 when NWSB commence its money lending business.


None of the Directors or major shareholders of Digistar and/or persons connected with them have any interests, whether direct or indirect in the Business License.

The phrase, "Buy on rumour and sell on News" only apply to speculative counters. Not for A Growth Stock Like Digistar.

Once Upon A Time In Calvin's Memory

I once bought SBC Corp at 45 Cents to 50 Cents when I saw its potential. Price remained very quiet for a long time. Then SBC Corp declared a nice set of result & SBC Corp price Suddenly Surged to almost 70 cents. Surprisingly, SBC Corp share price retraced again near 50 cents.

There were stale bull selling & others took short term profits in the hope of getting in cheaper again. But SBC Corp powered up to cross RM2.00 one fine day. Today many are still going GaGa over SBC Corp.

Since Digistar has a Unit Position in Pinewood Studio & New Money Lending License - Its Share Will Rise & Rise like SBC Corp.

So just wait.

Reminded me of Mah Sing many years ago....their plastic business is going no where and they decided to venture into property development and with ties to local authorities (DBKL etc) ...they are now a star counter compared to the days of making plastic

Digistar's IT business is so so only...and that's why they are venturing into property development and with ties to Malacca state govt...hopefully they follow Mah Sing's step

Now that they also got money lending license...the future is going to be brighter...hopefully
