Analysis: Singapore's June bunker fuel sales gain on soaring HSFO demand
I found on about an article by S&P Global with regards to fuel oil and bunkers demand, very good read for those who are interested in the sector…
Singapore's total marine fuel sales jumped by a sharp 7.4% year on year, underpinned by strong HSFO demand, reflecting the continued rise in scrubbers installations by shipowners prompted by a favorable price differential between low and high sulfur fuel oil.
The June sales demonstrated continued resilience in the world's largest bunkering port despite the challenges posed by the global coronavirus pandemic as well as the uncertainty hurled by the volatility in oil prices.
Sales of high sulfur bunker fuel, which includes 180 CST, 380 CST and 500 CST bunker fuel grades, were up 31.9% on the year to 1.06 million mt and constituted 25.8% of total sales in June, latest data by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore showed.

As at today, TECFAST is trading at MYR 0.410 per share. What does this mean?
This would mean we are now (if you are buying) investing into TECFAST at a discounted price as compared to its settlement share price. The last time I had deal with such corporate exercises, which is in the newly listed construction company TCS, the share price flew high after the completion of exercise. Now, TECFAST resembles its share price movement pattern.
The company’s management also added that they are considering in investing into newer bunker tankers to significantly enhance Fast Energy’s range of products & services offerings as well as its competitive advantage. To add on, aside from International Maritime Organisation (IMO) 2020 sulphur cap regulation, a newer 2030/2025 regulation had been imposed to the offshore players as well. The regulation aims to reduce greenhouse gases by at least 40% and 70% by 2050. So how could TECFAST benefit from this?

Better pray the share price recovers soon and do not break 0.20 critical support.
Asia Fuel Oil-380-cst HSFO cash premium at over 1-yr high
Marine fuel sales in the world’s largest bunkering hub of Singapore were at a two-month high of 4.072 million tonnes in August, official data showed on Monday.
The August volumes were down 2% from last year but slightly higher than a 13-month low of 4.064 million tonnes in July, the latest data from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) showed.
Overall floating storage inventories for residual fuel in the Malacca Strait climbed to a three-week high in the week ended Sept. 8, as rising stockpiles of IMO-compliant VLSFO offset a drop in stocks of HSFO and other uncategorized grades, according to data intelligence firm Kpler.
Total floating storage inventories rose by 72,000 tonnes, or 3%, from the previous week, to 3.01 million tonnes.
This came as floating inventories of VLSFO rose 8%, or 174,000 tonnes, in the week to Sept. 8 to 2.27 million tonnes.
