The agreement was pending because of MCO which causing some legal works cannot be done. That is why government issued extension of the existing agreement. Government does not need to do the extension if they decided not to renew the agreement.

Furthermore, KWAP and KWSP already know the result of the agreement. Hence, you can see a huge acquisition by them last week.
