EPF & kwap hold more than 5% shares in Myeg. Above 5 % is consider substantial shareholders. They sold down ytlpower & ytl Corp previously and bought back above 5% share holdings again. They did the same to Alliance bank. Funds need to make money like us.

Expanding business overseas was a great move. The quarter result not only green but increasing. Don't be dumb get influenced by negative comments. Genting quarter result was in loss and casino closed for 3 months and share price keep rising. Check out myeg financial statement yourself. Be smart and not dumb

With Myeg Medical Services, they can now tap into Perkeso's Prihatin Program where the government subsidizes RM150 per employee for Covid testing. All they need to do now is to acquire a clinic which has Perkeso panelship and provide on site screening.

Vignesh sir, all good in theory...unfortunately theory is not always true! My preference is mastering core activities and not get side tracked in all kind of things ....the markets don’t like too much diversification difficult to value and manage.

With effect from 1 June 2020, employers are allowed to claim a subsidy of RM150 for every COVID-19 screening undertaken by their workers who are SOCSO contributors. Employers who wish to streamline the screening process are invited to register on our website here. We will arrange for COVID-19 screening to be conducted by trained medical practitioners at the employers’ premises subject to a minimum of 50 persons per location, adhering fully to the Ministry of Health guidelines. Workers who are not eligible for the subsidy can undergo the screening at a fee of RM150 per person.

Diversification is the way forward for companies like MYEG. They need to evolve so that they do not overly dependent on one or two contracts for sustenance. Perkeso's scheme is there up for grabs and MYEG is making it convenient for the employers to screen their workforce. I think it will just increase their income stream.

Me a new myeg share holder! I'm impressed by the expansion of the company into RELATED areas, not just random expansion. Such expansion should bring about synergy and multiplying effects in business. A company must prepare for if one day loses government contract, it must not just survive but grow!

Going to into banking does not make sense. Why do you think you can do better than the banks?in developed markets fools entered banking sector and lost. Banks think they can do insurance and insurance companies think they can do banking. Both made a hash of it! Why? Because they are specialist businesses. For example how are you raise funds to lend? Attract depositors easy or you go on whole sale market to raise funds even this is not profitable. Then you have to have underwriting risk! Credit rating and so forth! That’s why you need sound governance which only comes when you don’t have initial owners owning majority of shares...there is check and balances, sorry to sound pessimistic, but that is the reality. Sure share may go to 1.50 but rationale is no longer there if a significant contract is lost.

Riaz1954 just sell your holding in MYEG if you still have any. No need to write long essay if you lose confidence in the counter. Find another which you think suitable for your portfolio. I'm not buffet. Buffet was already past coz he's making huge loss in his investment. Time change and his strategy doesn't work any more. Please check out how Tencent & Alibaba groups doing in their respective digital banking industry. They are not bankers but business is expanding greatly in China. Of course you have to hire financial experts to manage but all business carry risks and so are your investments.
