So close to my TP, congrats to all who hold since RM3ish. It has been an honor riding the wave with yall

Consider rotate your funds in banking sector to Ambank once your CIMB TP is reached. Ambank still has a lot of upside IMO (much more attractive PB, PE and ROE; price still hasnt move much from pandemic bottom).

Last year, Cold eyes hinted CIMB when stock price was only around RM3.15

But most ppl at that time prefer glove stocks over Bank stocks.

A banking analyst understands that applicants will need to go through AKPK to apply for this scheme. "So these are genuine financially distressed individuals. The impact to earnings will be less than the earlier estimate, as it will be a smaller group that will be entitled to the interest waiver," the analyst said when contacted on this.

Still on the uptrend EPF disposing to make their turn…..and pay benefits. They will soon buy back as the price goes to next level. From business viewpoint we know there has been no major corporate failures that took place March 2020, 2 big ones in Sing! Economy on the recovery so I expect the uptrend to continue in 2022.

You might be right Riaz, but I would rather rotate it into AMBANK once my TP is reached. At RM5.5, CIMB P/B is 0.95 already. P/B and P/E are much more attractive for AMBANK at its current price.

The current Ambank now is similar to CIMB after hontop and hin leong issues. Once people gain back confidence in Ambank, Ambank should be valued at RM4.5 at a similar P/B of 0.95. Much more upside than holding CIMB.

IMO, CIMB is already close to its fair value

New Zealand's central bank lifted interest rates for the second time in as many months on Wednesday, driven by rising inflationary pressures and as an easing of restrictions supported economic activity.
