i do not like that counter , i think it is shit, i sold all and get lost from there, simple and basic. be rational , few years back, there was a guy who screw BIMB like shit, today his mouth already shut off by shit . BIMB share price is about 4 ringgit., once went as low as 70 sen. sudah lah, take a break brother.

Prepare sell early.... After RDP shares @56cents faster sell. Last RDP was 80cent, before RDP share price above 90cents; after RDP become 60cents now.

MBSB price will never go up with current management team. Only can get low dividend with share price go lower. Can buy and keep if you can wait. Who knows later merge with another bank and price rocket up. My paper price loss 50% now

cold eyes got 25m value in mbsb. Just put here better than fd, plus we far better then those who collect at rm1, rm0.8. I see future in this company as epf hold 60%. There sure will b movement between rhb,cimb and mbsb. Now already 60cent, compare to upside, there will b more room for it to grow. Good luck all.

If you look back the past 3 years trade history. MBSB have been in Bearish and never went up. Everytime when the DRP issue out, the price went down further.

2018 DRP Issue price = RM1.02
Eventually, price further went down to 90sen after DRP issue out.

2019 DRP Issue price = RM0.80
Eventually, price further went down to 80sen after DRP issue out.

2020 DRP Issue price = RM0.56
Eventually, price further went down to ?? maybe RM0.50??

Allyally, yes, mayb it will drop to 50cent. people only will buy when low not sell when low. i wont mind to wait for another 3yr because foundamental still intact. Plus i am confident when epf holding 60% in mbsb, 40% in rhb and 10% in cimb. Belief give faith.

Let's compare BIMB with MBSB
MBSB = Market Cap is 4 Billions base on no. of share 6.7 billions.
BIMB = Market Cap is 6.3 billions base on no. of share
1.8 billions.

BIMB Average Quarterly profits = RM200 millions
MBSB Average Quarterly profits = RM120 millions

Assuming MBSB successfully transform into fully Islamic Banking after 3 years and average quarterly profits increase from current RM120 millions to RM200 millions.

Assuming no. of share MBSB 3 years later increase to 8.2 billions due to DRP.

EPS = (RM200 millions x 4 quarter) / 8.2 billions
Yearly EPS = 9.75

Pe x 10 = RM0.975

Fair value of MBSB 3 years later = RM0.975

If you buy in now at RM0.61 (last friday closing price)
Potential paper gain 3 years later = 60%

Question
Is it worth to wait for 3 years to earn a paper gain of only 60%? I believe there are many counter out there with more potential than MBSB.

Ally what will be the value of MBSB when MBSB bank is listed and what will be the IPO price .In return those holding MBSB holding shares will they benefit especially EPF. Dont you think value will be created or in short can it go below the NTA price of NTA a very conservative calculation .Usually it will create value

group’s plan to list its wholly-owned banking unit — MBSB Bank — on Bursa Malaysia is still on track, said Ahmad Zaini.

“This will be done after we have transferred the converted assets to the bank and disposed of any remaining non-converted assets,” he said.

Presently, the bank has completed 12 phases of conversion, involving a value of over RM659 million or about 25%, since April 2, 2018.

The bank is expected to convert all its existing conventional assets to Islamic assets by 2021. As at March 31, 2020, MBSB has a gross balance of RM1.84 billion or net balance of RM1.08 billion of conventional loans.

Mayun what da purpose to predict price today? If you want to goreng share, mbsb wont be a good choice if u follow da Ta trend but foudamental is good. Short term punter is advised to sell because it is not goreng share type. People r expecting good return in future years to come with consistent div.
