Agreed. i too sold some after ex..many may have sold and caused price to drop. the present price and offer price is about the same , do not waste time to apply, kindly help everyone to stabilize the price. after DRP, i think 52/53 sen should be quite rightly. NO WAY IT WILL GO TO 30 SEN, i will buy as muah as i have to average down,,,, even EPF may not subscribe as they want cash. our government is borrowing from all sector to pay his servant, worst is on the way.

EPF dilemma too, dispose then big paper lost, NTA not tally with the price to dispose, I guess EPF want dispose also difficult, might take it as farm for farming the dividend. Given situation like this, and from 1Q result, i believe too 0.57 wont be the lowest, 0.5 and support at 0.46 most likely to be.

AllyAlly If you look back the past 3 years trade history. MBSB have been in Bearish and never went up. Everytime when the DRP issue out, the price went down further.

2018 DRP Issue price = RM1.02
Eventually, price further went down to 90sen after DRP issue out.

2019 DRP Issue price = RM0.80
Eventually, price further went down to 80sen after DRP issue out.

2020 DRP Issue price = RM0.56
Eventually, price further went down to ?? maybe RM0.50??

Dont be overly worried la, unless you are buying on margin financing.
Definitely the banks will rise again, hold it and eat dividend @ minimum 5% pa, better than FD int.
The price will reach $0.85 (normal low level) in 6 months time.
Bank business will always earn money, 31 March first ever loss was due to low fair value adjustment of their investment. Almost shares have recovered their price by then, 30 June results should be positive :)
It is not easy to get bank license, whoever wants to own a bank, they can only buy existing banks, this will attract privatisation and restructuring.
If you buy 0.56 now, 0.28 price increase will contribute to 50% capital gain.
If you buy MBB, its price will must reach 150% x 7.80 = $11-$12, which is really difficult.

If you want quick money, dont buy banks because bank always have stable price appreciation.
MBSB will rise again, remember that you can get HUGE CAPITAL GAIN PROPORTIONATELY, but please wait patiently.

Whoever comments badly in forum are usually those want to buy in lower price, or else they wont be so free to comment to instil negativity haha. Common sense.
The fact they are keep commenting on the share price forum is showing they are interested on the shares itself, who is so free to spend time here if not interested.

Hahaha.. frankly i bought at 545sen sen last time then i throw at 75sen. Now i x want to buy anymore even it touch 545sen because i want to buy at 43sen. Why buy MBSB at high price while u can get it at lower price. Just BE PATIENCE. A key to success in life PATIENCE. No rush in stockmarket. Market is always there. Player come n go. Let's compare BIMB with MBSB
MBSB = Market Cap is 4 Billions base on no. of share 6.7 billions.
BIMB = Market Cap is 6.3 billions base on no. of share
1.8 billions.

BIMB Average Quarterly profits = RM200 millions
MBSB Average Quarterly profits = RM120 millions

Assuming MBSB successfully transform into fully Islamic Banking after 3 years and average quarterly profits increase from current RM120 millions to RM200 millions.

Assuming no. of share MBSB 3 years later increase to 8.2 billions due to DRP.

EPS = (RM200 millions x 4 quarter) / 8.2 billions
Yearly EPS = 9.75

Pe x 10 = RM0.975

Fair value of MBSB 3 years later = RM0.975

If you buy in now at RM0.61 (last friday closing price)
Potential paper gain 3 years later = 60%

Question
Is it worth to wait for 3 years to earn a paper gain of only 60%? I believe there are many counter out there with more potential than MBSB.
