PBB should be able to give the same amount of dividend as tiger bank or even more given the fact that it is not exposed to imminent failing unsecured loans of substantial size n also because of better profits. Tiger bank is heavily manipulated n investors should be on alert.

Dividend @ 7.7 sen. So total for 2021 is 7.7 + 7.5 = 15.2 sen. If before BI, that's 15.2 * 5 = 76 sens for 2021. Before announcement, opening price was 4.28 * 5 i.e. 21.40. Therefore returns for 2021 is 0.76 / 21.40 = 3.55%. Not too bad, would say on par with others. Better than 2019 which was 73 sens. My return is 4.0%, not great, but not bad either.

Haha ha.. For FY 2021, eps 29.14, dps 15.20....still just slightly above 50% payout.... How to match tiger? Anyway, it is good for the bank and long term investors. I don't mind.

You check tiger dividend payout rate over eps, of course most of the dividend will be returned back to the bank as DRP. Not wrong or right, you need to see which one is suitable for you. Pbb or tiger.

HLB shares are about 4-5 times pricier than PBB. Use the same multiplication factor and you'll find that dollar-to-dollar that PBB dividends still have better returns.
