*Public Bank Bhd's* shareholders have voted in favour of the group's final remuneration of RM20 million, together with various benefits in kind, to its late founder Tan Sri Teh Hong Piow, in
appreciation and recognition of his contribution to the country's third largest bank by asset size.
The benefits in kind included a company car, medical coverage and other claimable benefits.
Public Bank's stock exchange filing on Monday showed that the resolution was passed with 1,931 shareholders voting for it, representing 75% of total votes, while 1,178 shareholders held 25% of the votes opposing it.

Hey Jaya, you are right if fir dividends only. Capital gain vely slow. Since old man passed away, maybe there has been concerns by top investing funds.
So far cap gains very slow. Has close to 20bn shares. Wonder why management allowed for huge number of shares issued !!

Luckily, PBB & PIB loans are secured with collateral in the form of land parcels.
May mitigate loan losses to lesser amts.

From the Elliott wave perspective, shares move in 5 waves. Having completed its 5 waves, the shares will drop to correct its previous 5 waves. Nothing unusual. PBB has already completed its 5 waves up, hence the correction.

PBB should revise their dividend policy.
Dulu eventhough dividend low, but ade capital growth..so investors happy to hold long.
Now, dividend still low, and no capital growth.
Slowly PBB would be suitable for trading only, not investment stock.
