Financial Services sector has the biggest index weightage in FBM KLCI, without pushing banking stock, do you think KLCI can rebound to 1,500pts?
It is been 100days+ since new Unity Government cabinet is formed, no face if KLCI below 1,400! I guess, local Institutional fund will perform their Corporate Social Responsibility duty to push KLCI back to around 1,500-level , so that everyone is happy!

Banks in Malaysia are tightly regulated.
The assortment of assets/liabilities in the books/balance sheets are closely monitored by the central bank/BNM. BNM has been a very good central bank over the years. I worked in various banks before so i knew. Their track until the last coin in the respective denomination.

So, have confidence in our local banks. What was missed was even those smaller banks were merged into the bigger banks. Smaller banks have got their cutting edge over some bigger banks which can serve the smaller customers better at times.

Currently in Malaysia, the banking business can be considered as the most profitable
industry in view of its low Cost-To-Income ratio(CI) of approximately 44%! ( Public bank FY2022 CI 31.5% vs Industry CI 44.2%)

When people say TA is not good, TA is not good for ANY bank. TA is kinda useless in a way for banks.

Looking at just numbers and understanding metrics will help but will not make you a great investor. TA is just 1 small part of identifying a stock. If you only look at the numbers, highly likely you wont have a good time.

SVB and Signature- the past 2/ 3 day short seller's sitting on a paper gains of app. USD 2-3billion. unfortunately with trading halted after the FDIC seizure. And with the worst is over. Expect massive short covering when trading is resume. Nobody wants to missed out their profit
