Luckily, PBB & PIB loans are secured with collateral in the form of land parcels.
May mitigate loan losses to lesser amts.

From the Elliott wave perspective, shares move in 5 waves. Having completed its 5 waves, the shares will drop to correct its previous 5 waves. Nothing unusual. PBB has already completed its 5 waves up, hence the correction.

PBB should revise their dividend policy.

Dulu eventhough dividend low, but ade capital growth..so investors happy to hold long.

Now, dividend still low, and no capital growth.

Slowly PBB would be suitable for trading only, not investment stock.

public bank has quite poor revenue growth for past 5 years. looks like the growth period is over
but the share price remain high. people are still stuck with the old belief that it's a growth stock

Everybody...yes growth now may be slower. Again after covid huge bonus issue..So with more shares, dividends less. Pbb may need to do more to earn more profits to ensure capital gain.
I think game over for PBb...static growth

PBB legacy is growth stock. Thats where it grows to RM20 and later split to attract retailers.

Now scenario changing..Does PBB able to continue the legacy?

Now price already falling below PEx12, compared to historical PEx13. For some its a bargain, and for some its a loss of confidence.

Anyway, im still holding for past few years at avg 3.93. Still indecisive.

Good profit..if drop to 3...Maybe takeover by somebody. That somebody may only offer 50c above 3.50... So those that bought at 3.90 will still loose out. But hopefully some dividends come your way before takeover.
I am only guessing someone selling it down to buy PBB at a cheaper price.
Please, I am only guessing and it's just a possibility!!
