国家汽车公司普腾脱售49.9%的传闻已久，先是国库控股、政府，然后是多元重工（DRBHCOM，1619，主板工业产品股），数次尝试脱售这批股权。

不过，不信格言所说的“把最好的留到最后”，这次脱售给中国吉利的行动，应该评估对纳税人、多元重工股东以及其他厂商的影响。

从现金来看，作为交换近半的普腾股权，只有1.7亿令吉付给多元重工，相比之下，完全脱售规模更小的莲花，所获得的5.58亿令吉少很多。

对一家曾经是马来西亚市场领导者以及有超过30年营运历史的汽车公司，老实讲，这算不多。

根据条款，多元重工-吉利的普腾合资企业，也将得到吉利在大马和本区域的BOYUE休旅车经销权，虽然这个平台并不需要中国公司的额外金钱投资，不过这对大马的厂商可能很大影响。

令人担心的是，对新平台或者新领域如自动驾驶汽车等，所需投入的现金或联合投资却很少提到：这些主要增长部门得到其他更大的工业注入数以亿计的资金。

此外，更多的现金部分来自政府的13.5亿令吉研发补给和低息贷款，引起质疑，为何一家公司多年前已被私有化，却继续获得政府的援助和资金。

我们也发现，在所宣布的条款里，多元重工有责任负责出钱搬迁营运去丹绒马林工厂，而不是吉利。

随着主要控制权还是在大马手里，多元重工股东和大马纳税人可能要问：“这项联营计划是否代表，财务支持普腾的动作划上句点？”

如果答案是“不”，那么“到底还需要多少钱？” 相当多值得关注之处，不过，普腾和吉利只签署了一项意向书，条款可能再修改，因此我们需要大力关注。

同意以上说法…但这就好比周瑜打黄盖呗！最关键是"笨蛋傻瓜"已是濒临破产，何来筹码谈判，若非有"花姐"那一半股权技术，最后就是落得"倒闭"咯！！！首相已不止一次讲很清楚了，这次的脱售股权势必也是"笨蛋傻瓜"唯一最终出路！放心啦，那十多亿的研发资助金根本没说要多久发出啊，一个月？一年？还是10年？你们懂的啦。。最后还是要看大陆仔是否真的愿意技术转移后以"右坐"打进西亚，尤其印度大市场！东合只不过是作个样，各家狗咬狗骨头！！赛家Drb股价肯定会再上去的，tp2.0！不信？等时间证明咯，也不会太久，就zhe2个月呗！

I think investment is also good. This stock is worth more than RM1.78. Future intrinsic value is much higher than current price. Sum of parts (POS, Muamalat, 'less' of Proton losses, Proton land bank transfered to DRB, Puspakom, Alam Flora, Honda etc).

Look at it another way. Market Capitalization of DRB is RM3.4 billion. POS has a market cap of RM4 billion. Slightly more than 2 billion belong to DRB. Balance of business is worth more than 1.4 billion. That is why I say share price is cheap and as investor can collect.

@风起云涌，whether you like it or not...share market reflect to the future prospect, keep on looking the past quarter, is missing invest opportunity.

The tune or wind is changing for drb, yes, how long it nid for Proton back on track, or even on growth, no one knows...but automobile is a need to every1 tis day...look at Honda vs Toyota, less than 2 years time, Honda SUV strategy successfully overtake toyota No.1 foreign brand in Malaysia...

Bear in mind, although Geely is China brand, but Geely able to turn around for loss making Volvo, London Taxi, and it happened quite fast for the industry...

AFTA sure a bonus for Proton, Asean is a 600 million population market, and is very hard for big player to ignore this piece of cake...but unknown factor still in place, got to wait for both companies sign final agreement on July

Was speaking to a friend of mine at Proton, according to him, last month Proton sales increase by 30% compared to April. Hopefully, next quarter loss at Proton will be even lower compared to last year.

All Cs are not issued by DRB. After expiry Cs holders can receive cash from the issuers.CIMB issue C30 with exercise price at 1.10 and conversion ratio 2 for 1. Expiry date is 30/11/17. DRB at 1.77 C30 at 33c has premium -0.56%. -premium means you gain with C30 at 33c

Investors normally dun buy Cs. Cs are cheap and u can over 100k . High risk high gain for Cs holders. If after expiry Cs still at positive premium, you will loose all your money. Cs only good for bullish mother shares like DRB now

Hi Lkl888, my experience to Cs is not much. That why i tried for a quick trade on c30 previously. Assuming upon expiry it still at positive premium, you will still get back the money base on the 5 days average right? It not lost for all. You will only lose on the difference from the price you purchase and the 5days average price.

rule of thumb for buying CW issued by investment banks

never ever buy the CW if it has less than at least 3 months to expiry

reach 3 months sell..dun hold..or u die kau kau
