BTW, Bauto-C22 issued by CIMB quite interesting. Strike value RM1.5, 1:1 at 12.5sen. So, can collect when next QR red red...Looking at the pattern, this C22 is the same guy that operates C16. I made some handsome return there.

Like wise for market, bullish counter with no fundamental, "something good is going on and breakout is imminent" even the QR is bleeding cash hell and no end. While Bearish counter with strong fundamental, "QR result is so-so only that's why it's trading sideway" even the fact is it's gonna churn 100mil profit a quarter for next 20 years.

Human by nature don't operate based on facts. It's based on instinct and emotion.
This is also why not everyone can be pilot. Only those who can suppress their fear and anxiety under stressful condition, trust their gauge and act objectively can be one.

Why is it poor decision? I think it is a good decision. I rather them take the money and grow the company. If dividend is what you want, go to Public Bank, United Plantation, PChem or some high dividend yield counter.

I am here for the growth potential, hopefully they can continue to grow and grow and one day make it into KLCI30.

price was pressed by Maybank. Warrant CP and CQ expired this month

Next expiring warrant is CT from Macquarie Capital on 30 Oct. But I dont think MQ got enough skin to press price.

After MQ is Ambank's CU in Jan. So price should rally from now till Dec.

I think one of the reasons is high customer concentration. Most income comes from the hydro plant in a developing country, which is definitely not a low risk investment I think.

MFCB 90+% of the earning is from oversea and is tax exempted by Laos Government (5 years from 1/10/2020) so this one off 33% tax rate won't apply to them.

Short term earnings growth is stagnant, long term with the oleo, plantation and 5th turbine, the earnings growth will double or triple, maybe in 2024. Oleo will come online by end of 2022, plantation around 2026 and 5th turbine 2024, it is a very slow growth but hopefully steady.

In a video presentation, one of the directors said the profit difference between dry and wet season for the hydro is plus minus 10%, thus I am parking my money here and just wait, hopefully things turn out well. Wish me luck and all the best to current and future investor and also to the Goh family and directors. Hopefully it can enter klci30 in the near future.

I think this dilemma comes in wther Emery Oleo is a good investment.
Sime Darby was instrumental in running the biz where sime darby is a specialist in palm plantation and semi finished oleo chemical products. But Emery didn't do well and still making losses.
Of course, then comes MFCB without any experience and knowledge taking risk in jump starting and planning to turn around Emery looks far fetch.
If they do well, it can be profitable, otherwise it would be a drag to MFCB.

MFCB did not came in blindly. Did you not watch the AGM video? They only enter because the ex-KLK MD or team with 20 years experience running KLK Oleo partner with them. It is a partnership with someone very experience in that industry. MFCB has 0 knowledge, but the other team / company has knowledge, MFCB offers cash and back up the debt.

MFCB already said they would not have entered this deal if it wasn't for the ex-klk guy.

That ex-KLK guy put in his own RM20m money into the partnership. Skin in the game. That ex-KLK guy is not some manager or employee in this venture, it is a partnership. If I am going to put 20m into something, I better make sure I know what I am doing and I will make sure it will be successful.
