Shernius, if you buy today, you will not entitle the 2 sen special dividend today. However, we expect the management to declare another XX sen final dividend during their results announcement before month end. Assuming they maintain 2 sen final dividend as per prior years, then the yield will be >7.5%, better than FD or the diamond

If u buy 40sen(4 example) before right issue, now u only make profit from dividend only if u sold at 25sen. For old timers(loyal investors), band ball only especially 4 those who bought at much higher price.

A lot of investors got their mathematics wrong. They can't just take into consideration the rights shares only while failing to take into account the price they had paid for the L&G shares which entitled them the rights shares. Assuming one was lucky and bought 10,000 L&G shares at 35 sen each which entitled him to 18,000 rights shares. The total basic cost would come to 3,500+3780 or 7,280 or 26 sen per share. So if you sell the RI at 24.5 sen, you just break even if the dividend is included.

Purposes of buying share is earning ,but don't wrong interpret that is gamble , today in , hope for immediate effect , if that , i suggest genting casino is right choice , not here , of course , slide correction is going on , don't too emotion about the correct adjustment , normal tactic for stop the profit taking , after all , they will slow slow up trend , it take time , i still strong believe on its performance , perhaps this share already quite long period in bursa , all we can see is EXCELLENT , RELIABLE even TRANSPARENT , we just need plant the RIGHT INVEST ATTITUDE ON IT , worry is avoid , coz it really the BEST among all .
