Bjcorp like will announce Q2 result today, after 5 pm. Based on its subsidiary earning, Bjfood, Bjauto, Bjtoto, the coming Q2 result at least should perform better than Q1.

Please relook bursa announcement, Bjcorp will recognized Bjauto as associate after cut down stake to 36%, and therefore will recognized total RM 1.023 bil or 24.6sen with effect on 1 Dec 2014, By then, Bjcorp NTA will further surge to >RM 1.60. It will reflect in in next upcoming quarter, which mean, Bjcorp Q3 result will record at least EPS > 24.6sen, or as much as 62% of current share price of just 39.5sen .

If Bjcorp continue to rationalize and realize investment gain on its subsidiary, the next target after bjauto will be Bjfood. Bjcorp cost of investment just merely 70sen compared to Bjfood current share price of RM 3.06, Once Bjcorp opt to placement out its current stake in Bjfood from 59% to below 50%, it will follow account measure as Bjauto, recognized massive investment gain again.

So My Target Price for BJ Corp at RM2.50 is very possible. If fact if all the Other Companies like BJ Toto, BJ Asset, BJ Land, The Store Corp, Atlan, Magni Tech & ALL THE UNDERVALUED ASSETS Are Realized As CASH. IT IS HIGHLY POSSIBLE THAT BJ CORP BE A BLUE CHIP SOME FUTURE DAY.

Of Course If I claim that BJ Corp is worth more than RM10.00 all the naysayers will throw brick bats at me.

Your pick on MSC is not bad. Should perform well

As for us here, there are really limited stocks for Year 2015.

I like these

1) BJ Corp

2) Mui Bhd

3) Nylex

4) Rubberex

5) ILB

6) Super

7) Ajiya

8) Kheesan

9) Prestar

10) Mulpha

Except for BJ Corp & Mui Bhd the rest are unexciting. I like neglected stocks.

I have been looking at a hated stock by Uncle Koon Yew Yin - Xinquan

There are 2 interesting signs: 1) Insider is nibbling 2) Declares a 2 cents dividend

If Xinquan is genuine it is really selling at very deep value.

I think BJ Corp and Mui Bhd are the 2 stocks to watch for year 2015.

Both got Corporate Activities & Both will benefit from Tourism Boom in Year 2015 due to ringgit crash.

In xingquan, i think even is genuine, still need at least 2yrs to stable. Too fierce the competition in china, also very low barrier to entry. Not a good biz model according to buffett way of investing. I have more confident with GSB. Your pick on Nylex also good.

Revaluation of investment or fixed assets will not be reflected in Income Statement.
Even sale of the plantation land in BJCorp will not be taken into Income Statement as normal business transaction. It will be treated as Abnormal transactions, will be accounted for similar as Disposal of share holding in BJAuto. Any gain / loss in Land Disposal will affect the BALANCE SHEET & CASH FLOW Items such as +/-Reserve; +Cash/ Bank Balance; -Assets, Other Debtor ( if the is outstanding ), NTA etc.
If you still not sure, please check with BJCorp’s Auditor.

Talking abt umobile, i think still hard to list. As still loss making. Unless it has breakeven, then can backddor redtone. But i think unlikely. As vt style seldom backdoor. He might want to list umobile as ipo, he will earn more. Then takeover redtone someday.
