What do we expect on standard and quality when there are huge leakages from the actual cost paid? If MAS is serious about revival, it should do an open review on the cost paid vs the products it purchased. I am sure Nasi lemak is not the only pathetic 'costly' food served. A listing of the official suppliers to MAS will open up a huge can of worms!

MAS will NEVER get out of the rut. It has been so since the days of Tajuddin Ramli who single-handedly destroyed MAS. MAS was cut into several pieces and privatised. UMNO cronies now run Catering which charges enormous amount money for substandard food (like this nasi lemak). Even if MAS makes money, the money will be for the benefits of UMNO cronies. Gone are the days of yearly bonuses for the staff. MAS is being kept alive by EPF and Tabung Haji, so that these cronies can continue milking it. UMNO will not allow MAS to go under - it's their gravy train! In the end it's the Rakyat's money that is used to keep MAS on the life-support machine.

Cut cost- use brain to do it. Most of the food is cook with oyster source and starch. Dogs food taste better. No need to be expensive. It can be simple and taste nice. I have taken SIA and food is fresh and tasty.

i bought this counter because MAS is in very deep shit and with all with cloudy news, nothing is cheaper than MAS and i can buy in very big volume. Liquidity is big issue when it comes to big volume.

Now predicted 1 Bil Loss, but if the loss is lower, then price will up. But bet on long term. Once overhaul the operation, should be ok long term.

Mas is a charity company fund by government. Not a big deal while continue lossing money.
