Cheese, you are good in keeping a sharp eagle eye for closely monitoring on UP/DOWN market trend. TWS Plant is a good counter to look at, but MISC vs TWS is a totally 2 different counter.
Inventing in MISC means i knew/have interest in shipping line, LNG and some heavy marine engineering or any engineering discipline. Investing in TWS Plant, i am not expert/no interest in commodities, but i use sugar for my coffee while reading Shipping/Heavy Marine Engineering bulletin, so we can track where is the companies (MISC/MHB) position. That's the different.

Namo: Based TA, Stochastic, RSI, MACD smua dh mcm oversold. But stock cmni bahaya sikit la. Ingat MHB? Ramai Beli 5.30, naik kejap je. Kawan aku cakap jgn beli MHB masa itu. Jadi btl skg 4.76 dah. Skh banyak syrkt bsar tgh tengalam la. Hati2 bro. Kalu tgk MISC hrni VOLUME tinggi. Buy pn naik. Tapi Tak tahu btl ke tak ? Mungkin kejap je naik pastu jatuh! Baik bro beli saham lain! Thank you very much my brother Shuk. Thank you for the TA sincere advise from your side. Betul, MISC & MHD is related. Stochastic Indicator & RSI tidak pernah menggagalkan kita di dalam membuat keputusan kepada counter ni. Sekarang kita tengok, dia akan break 3.90 dan next break 3.7. Kalau break jugak, counter ini akan terus menjadi seperti counter simpanan di 'cold storage' buat masa yang terdekat in sebelum GE diumumkan.

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research said that despite MISC Bhd's first quarter core core net loss shocker, it thinks that earnings have bottomed.

It said on Thursday that it expects MISC to see group profits recover slowly as tanker and liner losses narrow.

Its share price has fallen significantly and may have already priced in most of the negatives.

"We are upgrading the stock from Underperform to Neutral as it is trading at 18% below book value. Our target price (RM4.25) is still pegged to 0.9 times price to-book value as we believe that asset prices may fall another 10%.

"We cut our FY12 earnings for higher liner closure costs, which are partially mitigated by lower estimated losses for the tanker division in FY12-13," it said.

On Wednesday, MISC reported net losses of RM465.08mil in the first quarter ended March 31, 2012 compared with losses of RM307.88mil a year ago following weaker performance of the liner and heavy engineering segments.

Its revenue fell 17.8% to RM2.404bil from RM2.924bil a year ago. Its loss per share was 10.4 sen compared with 6.90 sen a year ago

TOTALLY AGREED with you kl foong. They have what we may called: influence, persuade, force motives etc in giving comments. Yesterday was just to boost MISC, now it's different (before 10am). Stochastic still indicate as Oversold.

Thunder-storm, i think this is a repeated question, or is it a 'dejavu'. We buy counter tht we know about if fundamentally. I have a little bit knowledge about LNG Tank, Special Vessel and Heavy Marine Engineering (MISC & MHB). But i know less about Sugar(TWS). Investing in things that you know is better than you dont know at all, you know, something like having a girlfriend at your own interest, or are you just pick anyone anywhere you like and make them a girlfriend?

OK. Focus. Avoid noises. I must thanks Thunder_Storm for giving us a hint on commodities sector. Thanks to Baramundi80 for alerting on TWS (4421) vs TWSPlant(6327). I am not good in commodities but with all strength of God given right to gain all knowledge as we wish, me will try to study this commodities sector even its begin from chapter 0.01. Please help me if i fall, or if i tripped and it was just a slip; i will get up on my own. Bio diesel (oil palm base) is not so much on demand, but Gas is. Commodity is still rely on basic need such as sugar, soya etc.

MISC’s downtrend is likely to continue after closing below its May
low yesterday. A position can be liquidated below the broken
support at RM3.94, with support expected at the round figure of
RM3.50. However, the weak bias will be erased should the stock
close above the recent high of RM4.35, which may lead to a
rebound. Resistance is expected at the psychological RM5.00.
