AT this moment Sime group has achieved 24.8MT/ha while OER for 2014/2015 is 21.2%....

In coming FY 2015/2016 group has increased the target of OER to 22.3%.

Again, market driven of CPO price also another important variable to determine their plantation division performance. I hope to see another 10-12% PBIT contribution from NBPOL plantation ......

Sime group achieved 24.8mt/ha, please do some homework to be more precise.IOI estates in Sabah/Indon... r getting around 25-30 mt (in peninsular 23-25mt). All i know in Peninsular SD getting only 20 mt/ha after replanting is a disaster if based against current price of palm oil hence, I am waiting please confirm d yield in Peninsular.

My reply to d author of d above NS posting, GLCs' doing very well, I am too glad to hear that with some corrections.Why SD only getting 20mt in Peninsular while their counterparts r getting much higher. If SD mgrs work hard n achieve similar yield compared to IOI/UP/KLK, PNB would be able to pay a higher dividend. Peninsular estates total 300,000 ha ( not sure on d ha) if d yield can be improved from d current 20 to 23, d difference of 3mt @ 300,000ha = 900,000 fruits @ Rm300/mt/fruit =?....so 24.8 mt is not a good achievement!!!!!!!

Sime Darby's highest in Malaysia then followed by Indonesia Minamas side. Depends on which report you get. Either group or Malaysia only. Malaysia estates are above 25MT/ha..
well. It is not the best yet among peers.

Oh! please if Sime in Peninsular can get 25mt, please flash d source of inputs! I retired from Sime 6 yrs ago.If 25 mt, Sime would be able to pay d 50cts dividend promised b4 d merger of GLCs', please get your facts straight.....tks.

Lately, I read in d media they r talking of "mt of oil/ha" instead of "yield/ha", change in phrasing to hoodwink d shareholders who hv no knowlege of oil palm plantation! Right from d day oil palm estates started, estates performance r gaughed by "yield/ha",now playing wt phrases to hide their weakness.If u think, u r getting 25mt, google,copy n paste here.I criticising here becoz,I love my previous employer, flashing their weakness n hoping some positive changes takes place.Tenamaram estate was d first oil palm estate planted by SD in Malaya then, d word tenamaram is d tamil name for coconut tree becoz it looks similar.Inspite of having d highest years of experience why they cannot compete wt IOI?...please talk!........waiting.....

Ring. To determine Sime share price performance we need to research on property, industrial and motors divisions as well. Although plantation contribute high weightage around 48-55% for total sime revenue.

No mean to create trouble. Hope you consider my view.

Please, we r here for healthy criticism n making known to personnel holding reputable posts only collecting wages n r not taking d challenge to compete wt IOI.MD, CEO, Directors shd know that we cannot be taken for a ride n by exposing d truth more may come to know n may endup, d man in d street will start talking widely on d issues raised.Everything going up, wages, fertiliser price even directors fees etc but palm oil pr going down, if no proactive action then craaaaash! We dont want that to happen n oil palm industry, simple effort, mgrs get committed n spend 8 hrs of s'vision n u shall ger d yield.If u think u dont like estate life then get lost!

If we r sure of d facts then we shd give maximium criticism here.Directors shd know that now we r in d internet world or living in a glass house, everthing transparent.Everybody shd talk, u cannot shut ppl mouth. We want d yield similar to IOI. If u hv any mgr friends in IOI, talk to them, they go through hell but well compensated.

I have been talking about yield all d while n now what happened, crash. Even now is not too late, mgrs must work very hard in field 8 hrs field supervision daily.This can atleast improve yield by 1mt = 500,000 ha @ 1mt/ha @ rm300/ mt of fruit = rm150,000,000, is that difficult!

Media news India investing USD1.5B, to grow oil palm, plus increase soya bean n rape seed oil cultivation to become self sufficient (protectionism) hence in d long run our oil palm industry will collapse.As i said must strive to increase d yield in d existing land n not buy land to increase yield.Yield cannot increase becoz of laziness, how long to depend on handouts must work very hard to survive or death is coming, how can u go on cheating ppl all the time n all d while.

India being major buyer of CPO going to spend USD1.5B to grow oil palm etc to be self reliant on oil (protectionaism) n S bought NPOL to increase hectarage n sell oil to whom? Dump heads follow UP strategy who belief in increasing yield in existing land, intellutuals. S no brain, i feel very sad. GLC/Govt taken for a ride, shares holders? 20 billion debt can be reduced if in Peninsular estates yield can be incressed similar to UP & IOI n cost of production to rm1500/mt of oil of oil price which currently is rm2000.
