@thomboy888: My analysis of this stock is simple.... the cash (per share) value of this stock is RM1.14 (It stayed at this price for some time 1 or 2 weeks ago). The price of YTL should not stay below RM1.14 for too long. There is upside potential for this stock whenever its price drop below RM1.14. BTW, I bought some more at RM1.07 yesterday. Let's see how it will go in the next few days (or weeks).

KUALA LUMPUR: The government is hopeful of a substantial reduction in the amount of government debt within the next few months, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

He said since taking over as prime minister, his government had cancelled a number of costly projects which contributed to the overall debt reduction.

"Trying to reduce debt is a tough job, but we have cancelled a number of costly projects," he said at the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce luncheon here on Thursday.

上市公司外资撤离显著

“但是，我们发现上市公司出现外资显著撤离的趋势，其中杨忠礼机构（YTL,4677,主板贸服组）、杨忠礼电力（YTLPOWR,6742,主板基建计划组）和国家能源（TENAGA,5347,主板贸服组）外资持股分别减少9.7%、3.5%和3.1%，怡保工程（I J M，3336，主板建筑组）和金务大（GAMUDA,5398,主板建筑组）外资持股也缩水4%和2.51%。”

另一方面，MIDF研究说，虽然外资持续窜逃，但今年以来外资仅卖出11周，低于去年的17周，就算外资近期呈净卖出状态，大马自2017年1月以来已累积吸资42亿1000万令吉（约8亿2660万美元），吸金能力仍是东盟4国（包括菲律宾、印尼和泰国）之最。

数据显示，截至今年6月中，外资从马股净撤离76亿1000万令吉，但银行、石油与天然气、消费者、航空和博彩股却仍获外资青睐。
