banking on the HSR surfacing again, if the news didn't turn out right again, another drop

Posted by MokhzaniMM > 2019-04-15 18:31 | Report Abuse

SBB till no more..YTL bank borrowing astronomical. Even gamuda n George K down. Kiss His MaJ (H) Siphoning (S) Rail (R) goodbye All tied up to drown with enormous commission agreements. No chance la once the trial starts. Bank accounts raided all will show. Better buy MMC.

After Malaysia PM announce no HSR, it is clear investors should avoid this counter as all the investigations taken. Safer to buy non-crony counters. Obvious from the total collapse of this counter last year after the general election, investors must not get burned badly again.

Yup,it could be in between 1 to 2 years, but let’s think about it, we can now prepare to accumulate some first, and that I believe according to ytl strong fundamental, it will goes back to 1.5 around, and once hsr decided to launch, it will touch 1.8-2.0 at least!! So after calculated, which is 80-90% in 2 year run...it’s considered a good return also!!!

Is it true that there is investigation going on into YTL’s share buyback (SBB) during the period of the share price collapse after the GE results? Can someone pls confirm is it true that the Yeo family bought shares in advance first, then use the company’s money to aggressively go in on the SBB, and when the price went up enough, did the members of the Yeo family made millions from this trade? Can someone with expertise advice is this insider trsading? And if so, will they be prosecuted? Or are they exempt and above the law because of their close ties and connections to Mokhzani Mahathir? So should we sell or hold? Someone pls clarify?

If they not buy some low at the market, the price will go low and lower, they buy at low is for stable the price. Share buy back is good for small shareholders, at least we still have hope for share bonus.

@AnyInvestigation, regarding your question bout yeoh family...the main issue is whether it is insider trading, it must involved buy and sell within a short period of time, if not mistaken is within 2 months or 60 trading days, so far we know, the family all just bought before sbb kicked in, and none of them sell it till now...so how to investigate?

You can check bursa, i am oso blow water nia...

Stop looking at the past. Look forward.

You now have the top 2 cement-producing companies in the country with significant market share under one roof. With that size surely there'll be synergies and economies of scale and the clout to influence price. Don't forget this also includes Holcim Singapore.

ECRL +BM + other spillover developments will only ramp up demand.

Those TP by IBs are backward looking. Look forward. Earnings are always forward looking.

YTL purchase of Lafarge strategically positive, says CIMB Research
https://www.thestar.com.my/business/business-news/2019/05/03/ytl-purchase-of-lafarge-strategically-positive-says-cimb-research/

YTL Corp subsidiary YTL Cement’s offer to acquire LafargeHolcim Ltd’s 51% stake in Lafarge Malaysia for RM1.6bil cash (RM3.75 a share) is strategically positive but poses immediate earnings dilution, CIMB Equities Research says.

“We are longer-term positive on the strategic rationale of the deal as YTL Cement will become the dominant player with an estimated combined domestic market share of 70%.

“However, we are medium-term negative given the earnings impact,” it said.
