Which means

C34 is the CHEAPEST you can buy to ride the mother to RM1.

Don't trust me can calculate yourself.

At TP RM1, assuming no premium paid, C34 is worth 0.25 because of 1:1 unlike the other warrants.

So make the right choice.

Okay.. so start with the strike price, that's the price point of mother share that decides whether your warrants are worth something or just useless paper.


C-32: 0.823

C-33: 0.9

C-34: 0.75

C-35: 0.629

C-36: 0.682

C-37: 0.8

Then find out how much you are actually paying for the warrants and their conversion ratio, DON't IGNORE THE CONVERSION RATIO because it'll determine how much you actually pay WHEN you convert, in other words wait for expiry.

C-32: 0.04 * 2 = 8c

C-33: 0.035 * 2 = 7c

C-34: 0.13 * 1 = 13c

C-35: 0.13 * 2 = 26c

C-36: 0.21 * 1 = 21c

C-37: 0.075 * 2 = 14c

NOW ADD THEM UP

C-32: 0.823 + 0.08 = 0.903

C-33: 0.9 + 0.07 = 0.97

C-34: 0.75 + 0.13 = 0.88

C-35: 0.629 + 0.26 = 0.889

C-36: 0.682 + 0.21 = 0.892

C-37: 0.8 + 0.14 = 0.94

LOWER IS BETTER BECAUSE IT MEANS WHEN YOU CONVERT, YOU GET THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PRICE YOU PAY VS THE MOTHER PRICE.

THEN LOOK AT THE GEARING AND PREMIUM,

HIGH GEARING = HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD

LOW GEARING = LOW RISK LOW REWARD

HIGH PREMIUM = YOU"RE PAYING 100usd FOR ITEM A

LOW PREMIUM = YOURE PAYING 20usd FOR ITEM B

So as I was explaining about warrants,

In the case of 2:1, an increase of 5c is actually an increase 10c to the adjusted value! Which means when you convert, YOU GET LESS!!! compared to warrants with similar setup but 1:1 conversion

So don't fall for the syndicate's trap!!!

Gearing means leverage, higher leverage means an increase in mother results in bigger increase in son, likewise a drop in mother results in bigger drop in son.

High leverage, low leverage, no wrong no right, depends on your risk reward.

If you are on i3, click the warrants tab, it should show the ratio.

Warrants issued by banks are called cfd which means the price you pay + strike price - mother price is your profit on expiry. Lower than strike price, means worth nothing. Hence, higher strike price CAN be dangerous.

You convert when you wait for expiry, don't need to do anything

However, I need to comment that C37 is getting very heated. Absolutely not worth the price people are paying for it when we all know the goreng takes place in this month and possibly the next only.

C32, C33 are just dangerous, too dangerous even for me. You win big or lose everything.

C34 is a big laggard. In all fairness, it should be at 0.15 - 0.17 range already, when you compared with other warrants.
