RHB team have met up with YTLP management prior to their TP price upgrade. Similarly UBS team too must have met up with YTL top management before they buy into YTL group. They {UBS} have a very clear investment view and strategy.

Mr Pang 72. The possibility & opportunities are endless. Remember Boustead sold part of thier Kulai Estate to YTLP in late 2021 for 430 million. The estate land size is 664 Ha {1 Ha @2.471 acres =1,640 acres} Kulai distance is around 40-45 km from Singapore .if Nvidia can set up AI-DC hub at Kulai with YTL. There is no stopping if Nvidia {Jensen Huang} starting or contemplating having its own chips factory at Johor. Afterall one of Nvidia suppliers { KINSUS } mulls starting a chips substrate plant. This news was reported in Nikkei Asia on 16 Jan 2024. YTL group price can really fly if this can materialised. A word of caution { just my own idea } not Francis Yeoh or Jensen. Huang

Sunway forward goes to pe30 target price $3.00 by RHBBANK..
Sunway is similar business as YTL which is big conglomerate in diversity business..

So, referring to PE 30, annulise 4.7x4x30 =$5. 64 close to $6.20 giving by simplews

YTL's connection to NVIDIA is highly probably a security risk to Malaysiaa and its genuinely pro Palestine stance. We look like fools when we say we want to save Palestinian and then invite the Company Nvidia with the AI Supercomputer designed by Nvidia aimed at the drones and missles killing the thousands of innocent Palestinians children on genocide scale until even the ICJ says so. Makes our PM seen as a hypocritical politician saying one thing and taking photo ops with Nvidia and YTL.

I shld say YTL has higher chance to get hsr if Najib being pardoned.
Ytl got award hsr during Najib time. It shld return back to YTL without any open tender which is wasting money and time. I am surprised the government didn't aware off the waste of resources for retender

Mandini { DASI } need to show he has no cronies. HSR mooted by his HRH . Look at ERL 7 years extension to YTL . HSR needs the expertise , experience and deep pockets for the 120 billion project. Not every construction or railway consortium has the means. Indonesia Jakatra HSR line awarded to China after beating off the Japanese consortium. China railway has the expertise and manpower. Our ERCL is another case in point.

Hyflux failed due to its inexperience in power generation as it branched out from its water treatment business. Its power plant in Singapore has since been bought over by PowerSeraya at a cost lower than the original building costs of Hyflux. That shows the brilliance of YTL Power management in scooping up quality assets at a bargain price.

This new CCGT plant of Hyflux has been contributing good profits to PowerSeraya since the completion of acquisition last year, and PowerSeraya is on track to recoup the investment cost in Hyflux asset within 3 years.

Thank you Calvin for highlighting this timely acquisition by YTL group.
