Nothing to shout about. Yesterdays result is the same as 2 qtr ago. Just a speculative hype riled up sentiment. It will resume its downtrend towards 1.80. Many will cry.
Eps = 4.5 + 4.5 + 4.5 + 5 = 18.5 thereabout.
Fair value = 1.80 - 2.00 only this is where it will settle. Going forward it will go even lower because contribution fr ytlpower has peaked out n will be lower n lower. Final stop = 1.60 there about, after the speculative hype it will settle here over time.

I am not an expert on numbers but certain revenue numbers figures and profit indicators of YTL 2Qtr announced yesterday is verify and prepared by a team of professionals engaged & employed by the company before submission to Bursa. Not a hearsay or just "pasar malam" gossiping but based on actual reported accounting figures against previous qtr and YoY comparison. Not a speculative hype to rile up prices. YTL net profit jumped 589 million for the 2nd qtr ended 32Dec up from 96 million a year earlier. For the 1st 6 months of FY 24. YTL recorded a net profit of 1.11 billion against 133 million recorded a year ago. Whether YTL earning has reached its peak is subjective. Going by Management guidance they expect the group to continue maintain & operate satisfactory. Look how Nvidia profit has continued to outperform. This figures are reported in the business times and also in Bursa website

Looking at YtL group operations every business segments has performed . All cylinders are firing and generating higher profit Year on Year. YTLP AI smart data centre is expected to start operations by mid 2024. This is their ace card. Jensen Huang is a well connected and experienced entrepreneur.He is not going to operate only an A1 data centre. Imagine if he decides & picks YTLP as his A1 partner producing his Nvidia highly sought chips in Johor with YTL to circumvent any restriction by US on sale of A1 chips to China.wow .....
