thats exactly what happened to me. so i borrowed one of their dongles for RM100 ringgit deposit "trial period" and finished the quota in 3 days. bunch of bastards i tell you. by far the worst service and worst internet experience i have ever had in malaysia. i regret the day i said yes to YES. i suggest you say NO and stay away from these vampire leeches.

YTL is to be removed frm KLCI component effective June 30...Hahaha They've been keeping close to RM14B for more than 10 yrs...Assets and investments have been skyrocketing during the past 10 yrs and they had missed the boat; whereas Warren Buffet has made some sound investments since the last financial [subprime] crisis since 2009 and is being paid off lucratively! ytlpower will be replaced, but not ytl right? btw guy if the group declare dividend becoz it has huge amount of cash, then how to finance those massive governmental project such as HSR? ytl is for long term, if you aim for short term then u shall not invest on ytl, go something else

Francis Yeoh mooted the HSR idea from KL - SG, I am pretty sure he will get a slice of the cake... YTL is also cash rich and can easily fund the project

However, how big a slice will he get? That would be a billion dollar question:)

YTL won the bid for 1Bestarinet project which involves the provision of high speed Internet service for 10,000 schools. Other projects awarded by Education Ministry to them include supply of chrome book laptop & creation of a virtual learning platform for students, teachers & parents costing up to RM 513.3 million. This is in conjunction with Education Ministry plan for 1student1device program, though it has not been implemented yet.

Everyday EPF is selling, capping YTL at 1.65/1.66...Need to wait until EPF stop selling after 1-2 months then only YTL can go up.

I just find EPF actions not reasonable past 12 months. Every single counter EPF is selling, all go up... Like this one EPF bought at 1.72,1.68,1.65...then suddenly EPF starts selling everyday at 1.65...what kind of investment decision is this?

May be EPF thinks if YTL wants to privatize YTL power, it has to fork out extra cash, bad for YTL. Or may be YTL current quarter no dividend, YTL power got dividend, so all chase after YTL power instead.

Ya, i think i agree with spinninglotus. YTL movement effect KLCI, so u can see the check and balance in the buy and sell queue which suddenly pile up to millions and drop to thousands. nonetheless, once this cash rich YTL make a purchase or land a major project, we will ride YTL bull
