hollandking Let me ask u this question, did TM reduced their pricing, the answer is NO. Do u not get this, it means that what gobind promised isn't implemented yet. That means something gonna happen by year end bcoz the promise is by year end. You just have to focus on what the govt had promised, not what TM promised. Don't look at the short term, look at mid to long term and predict what is going to happen.


TM did reduced the price per mbps way lower than what Gobin asked. The last thing a telco want to do is thing that will reduce the ARPU. They can increase opex capex efficiency per mbps but the amount itself will keep increase. Signing up new subscriber is costly, upfront cost is high and will take years to breakeven. Soon Gobin will understand the dynamics of telco.

I'm waiting Gobin to comment last few week.....cut price % almost 0% in term of business sense....cut cost still possible as I know you know...many TM contractors is hidden.....

Upgrade speed increase cost 2% will be compensated by+ cut cost for the hidden contractors.

More customers coming ...Rm 5 is only way to heading....

If cut price TM will heading to RM1.....

SO...sailang as much as you can.....2018 another 5 months to go......let we had a good closing....wakakakaka

The fundamentals of TM didn't change, the number of shares didn't gain. Share price ranged from RM3.00 to RM6.50 within 52 weeks. With current RM3.70, considered cheap already.

The worst scenario is TM drops to RM3.00, potential downside RM0.70. The best scenario is TM climbs slowly to RM6.50, potential upside RM2.80. Please pick a side.

Signed up Time.com 100mbps for 149 ringgit per month.
Come August price will adjust downwards accordingly.
First month 100 ringgit rebate.
Next month is even cheaper.

Say bye-bye to 199.90 per month package for only 50mbps.
Look like TM is not going to unbundle Hypp TV, but merely increase speed to 300mbps.
Do you really need to 300mbps speed for domestic usage?

TM is expecting profit to shrink by 1% in their amended investor report, so I believe TM will rise back up in the LONG TERM, but in the SHORT TERM there will still be some painful tunnels to cross first

Update:

For Streamyx users, some 340,000 existing customers (within Unifi coverage) will be encouraged to upgrade to Unifi.

Another 350,000 Streamyx customers who are not within Unifi coverage areas are targeted to enjoy double speed upgrade.

TM has close to 1 million #Streamyx customers at the moment.
