warrant is a security that entitles the holder to buy the underlying stock of the issuing company at a fixed price called exercise price until the expiry date. usually in malaysia got two type of warrant one cash collateral another one share conversion. when the mother share is more then the exercise price usually the warrant will follow through and the percentage of gain will be higher. But be careful because warrant is a high risk investment you need to closely monitor.

AA would have already crashed badly solely based on the QR results but the 90 sen dividend is creating a "fake demand" for people to buy In and get burned......wakakakakakaka....AA buggers who bought at the top would not die soon but definitely dying towards the 90 cent dividend.

In before the spinners and twisters come in and say that their portfolio is all free, average is only RM1 and going to use the upcoming dividends to buy more

With the recent 0.90+ last year SD + all the other quarterly div from AA ....i recover almost half of my investment cost. So long as the share price is above RM2...i'm not worried at all. If it go below RM1.50, then will have unrealised loss. After the entitlement date, can sell all my AA shares jor.

AirAsia昨天宣布派出90仙的特别股息，相信大部分股东和早前买入的散户感觉像中了jackpot。即使业绩表现不理想，股价今天也大热走高。

尽管如此，CIMB股票行今天仍继续看衰这只航空股，目标价只有1.56令吉。还大大个标题写“还剩下什么？”

其实这几个月全部基金经理都在等着这一次的特别股息公布（预期70-80仙），今天股价开高走低就是很好的证明。如果你对这次的特别股息感到意外，代表你的投资level还在菜鸟阶段，今天赚到存粹是运气使然。

由于不断卖出飞机然后再自己租回，AirAsia接下来的成本预计会提高（就像你原本自住的屋子，卖给别人然后再租回，需付价钱肯定更高，除非买家是你爸爸）。令吉和油价的近期走势，显然也对航空领域不利。

8月底派息后，AirAsia将只剩下10亿令吉的现金，对比每年需要的超过100亿令吉的营运现金需求，还有可能要pump钱拯救的海外亏损业务，董事局未来很难再派出特别股息。

自从东尼老板在2017年以1.80令吉认购配售股票后，AirAsia已经派出了1.78令吉的股息。谁是最大受惠者，明眼人都看得出。
