TF is a smart accountant. He will walk off as the winner, why should he save a sinking boat? He has been in talk with khazanah n govt to bail out but govt needs to save MAS. So need to let him go, afterall that's private company. Not national pride.

I think even raising capital thru RI is difficult bcos normally you need guarantee from majority
shareholders to confirm participation. We all knew the financial conditions of Tony. Most of previous
AA dividend for Tony maybe already used to plug Holes in his other commitment like England FA
and his failed F1. Without strong Arm of Nazir Razak (former Cimb CEO) who would extend loan
to Tony especially to save a PN17 Co.( manyak susah )

Next option is, sell more planes to leasing Co. plus other asset "Big Data / Small Data" Co.
Maybe AA can escape PN17 and return to Bursa with Zero asset Co. ( don't know Bursa will
allow AA to be listed again if you got no asset )

Q1 2020 results with only less than 1 mths impact (march) resulted in RM900K loss.... just imagine the results of Q2 where all the 3 mths and covid months.... potentially RM900K (less forex losses 200K) x 3 = RM2.1b loss... unimaginable

The ray of hope is when the foreign affairs dept manages to reach agreement with "green" countries to open borders and allow travel both ways... actually there are many.....Taiwan, Thailand, HK, Singapore; Australia, Macao, Brunei, Vietnam, etc. Certain parts of China too...but ppl may not be comfortable with the idea.... let's see.... meanwhile... the stock will take further beating.

另外，我个人认为公司很快就会宣布获得融资的消息啦，市场传言会进行 Right Issue 或者 Private Placement，这两种都有可能，但是我觉得有利息的 RCN（Redeemable Convertible Notes）或许会更有可能性 也给予公司更大的流动性，不过这类型的 RCN 通常不是 Discount 死贵死贵就是利息偏高，小道消息是红飞机已经接获了几个 Offer，只是还没选择要用谁而已！

mas is also reducing fares to fight airasia. PUTRAJAYA (July 8): Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) is offering 20% discount to all schoolteachers and lecturers for domestic flights.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the same discount will also be offered to students once they signed up for membership in the MH Explorer programme at the airlines’ official website.

He said the discount is offered to schoolteachers and lecturers who make their flight bookings from July 9 to Aug 10 for trips between July 10 to Nov 30.

“The discount can be enjoyed through online flight booking by keying in the promo code which will be announced by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Higher Education soon.

“Students, on the other hand, can enjoy the discount up to Nov 30 or until their MH Explorer membership expires,” he told a press conference here today.

JJ, you got me figuring-out why you said AA might have No asset after selling planes. At first a little
confused, but when i look at my Old car resale value and Bank loan. It all gel in. With so many Airlines wanted to sell planes to raise cash, market value for used planes just drop to the bottom.
Then you have the bank loan. Selling used car always loss money, maybe resale value of plane
is better
