Another stupid buy call here. Current liability exceed current asset by almost 2 billions. Current liability is the debt that are due within 12 months. They do not have enough current asset to pay it back .

Still degil want to buy so go ahead lah, TF already sold many aa planes last year and reward shareholders with high div. remember or not, think lah who got the most div.Now the only thing left is high debt, if business is good still can service the loan but now don't now how to pay, the loan will roll like a snow ball, become bigger.

KUALA LUMPUR/SINGAPORE (July 8): AirAsia Group Bhd is considering raising about RM1 billion through a rights issue after an external auditor raised concerns about its viability, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.

The budget carrier is working with an adviser on the planned capital raising, said the person. AirAsia is also weighing raising additional funds via the sale of stakes in its digital and cargo units in order to further strengthen its financial position, said the person, who asked not to be named as the information is private.

Deliberations on the planned rights issue and stake sales are still ongoing and AirAsia may decide not to proceed, said the people. A representative for AirAsia declined to comment on the matter.

Short term price weakness is unavoidable with current and future prospect.

I don't be surprise the Korean stake sales will be announced soon. Perhaps listing of Digital arm can help the cushion some of the price fall.

Still, I have faith in TF to ride out from this episode. We are Malaysian and should help each others. Any downfall of local corporate will not do any good to the country economy specifically the employment.
