The_JQ, forget those people who like Capital A to be run like My-Airlines and MAS. They prefer Capital A and AAX to show off fat profit but neglect MRO and serve cheap in-flight meal (sardine sandwiches and nasi bungkus). These dudes die die want to condemn Capital A and AAX. So many dark spot in their heart la. While we follow the greatest magician Sir Tony fly to Peru, Timbaktu and Uluru.

Meanwhile our Chloe has been busy traveling around Japan for the past 3 days. Thanks to Ericsson’s Softbank 5G network she’s able to communicate with us. SoftBank Japan uses Ericsson’s 5G technology. Ericsson has been a key partner for SoftBank in deploying their 5G network. They have collaborated on various projects, including the deployment of Japan’s first Multi-Operator Radio Access Network (MORAN) with KDDI and SoftBank.

This is also why Magician Tony is focusing on MRO service. Asia-Pacific aircraft services market seen doubling to US$129b by 2043 — Airbus report as everyone like loves to fly to meet their customers.

In Japan, domestic air travel is primarily dominated by two major airlines: Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA). These airlines offer extensive networks covering over 50 airports across the country. Additionally, there are several low-cost carriers (LCCs) that are popular for domestic travel:

• Skymark Airlines: Known for its extensive route network and moderate fares.
• Peach Aviation: Japan’s first genuine low-cost carrier, offering competitive fares.
• Jetstar Japan: Operates the largest domestic network among LCCs.
• Air Do: Focuses on routes between Tokyo and Hokkaido.
• Starflyer: Offers routes centered around Kitakyushu and nearby regions.

These airlines provide a range of options depending on your budget and destination. However non of them are able to beat Capital A’s outstanding achievement *15X World Best Low Cost Airlines*.

To date, the Malaysian government, through its sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional, has injected a total of RM28 billion into Malaysia Airlines1. This includes a recent commitment of RM3.6 billion to support the airline’s restructuring and operations until 2025..

Remember Capital A is more than an airline. It is our investment holding with a broad portfolio of synergistic travel and lifestyle businesses. Magician Tony was braved and smart to turn a RM 1 Company into a World Best Low-Cost Airlines without any bail out from Malaysian Taxpayers so that Everyone Can Fly…

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

I already proposed to Gobermen to sell Malaysia Airlines, Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Kastam, LHDN, KLIA, JPJ and DBKL to CapA all for a combined RM1.00

=> so far no news yet.
=> its very disappointing !!!

Aiyoyo Balian your proposal already so outdated compare to PAS proposal money should be printed and given to the people to solve economic crises.

WHY can’t the government give every family RM1 million? “It seems logical, right?,” asks Minister of Economy Rafizi Ramli in a post on X.

In the post, he trolls the Parti Islam se-Malaysia Member of Parliament for Macang Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal, who said in the past that money should be printed and given to the people to solve economic crises.

Posted by Balian de Ibelin > 2 months ago | Report Abuse

Yes agree
superb proposal indeed.

I have an improved proposal to give every Malaysian family RM1,000,000,000.00 every month.
This includes those hundreds of thousands of half Malaysian families where the husbands are Banglas

Naturally Cap A will be given a PAS cash bantuan acronym PASTUAN of RM100 Trillion for capital injection.

Lowest unit cost airline in the world. Management is very ambitious, cost conscious and forward-thinking.

Is capA after paying lease payment to lessors, will it be one of the most highest unit cost airlines?

Group’s YTD net cash from operations doubled YoY to RM2.1 billion.
Cash flow from financing activities
Repayment of lease liabilities RM (1,792,676,000)

CapA is too good to the lessors and still paying lessors RM (100,343,000 + 76,568,000) for non operating aircrafts in Q2 ended 30/6/2024.

As at 30/6/2024
RM'000
Net current liabilities (13,478,846)
Total equity (11,244,436)
NTA RM (2.12)

Current lease liabilities RM 5,510,697,000

Can capA generate enough cash flow to pay the current lease liabilities?
Luckily revenue bond come to the rescue. So that capA can live to fight for another day

Not sure why you said that when I can earn from AAX since AAX is the one going to own the airlines business from CapitalA if this on which most of people buying CapitalA is due to the potential of this airlines business.........

Unless you really know the profit calculation as later if on, capitala will cut off the airlines business but capitala holds AAX shares, so not sure how those profit from aax can put into future capitala qtr.....if capital qtr minus all airlines business (With all the debts along), surely the profit amount won't be the same anymore.........

Stand to be corrected…

Capital A announced the mechanics of its restructuring plan in its efforts to address its PN17 status. As part of the plan, Capital A proposed to dispose of AirAsia Bhd (AAB), which owns the Malaysian aviation operation, and AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd (AAG), which manages the Indonesian, Thai, Philippine and Cambodian operations, for RM6.8 billion to AAX.

Capital A will still own an 18.39% stake in AAG.

If AAX revenue in 2025 is RM 12.4 Billion, Capital A’s gain from its 18.39% stake in AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd (AAG) based on AAX’s projected revenue of RM12.4 billion in 2025, Capital A would gain approximately RM2.28 billion from its 18.39% holding in AAG if AAX’s revenue in 2025 is RM12.4 billion from the aviation business.

Then we need to add other revenue from post restructuring. Capital A will retain ownership of the four major business segments, namely the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations under Asia Digital Engineering (ADE), logistics under Teleport, the AirAsia MOVE SuperApp, and digital finance service BigPay.

Without official figure, the shareholders can either guess the figure after AA gone OR use available information to reverse engineer and calculate the possible profit.

In classroom, we learn 1 + 1 = 2 , we also learn reverse engineering the equation to 2 - 1 = 1 .
This is the maximum hint I can offer, if you are too lazy to do the homework, perhaps can start selling your Cap A stock.
You will be surprise with the profit and EPS from non-aviation segment.

For serious, profit not count in such way to transfer one public listed profit to another public listed company one lol, else we all shareholder rich already if the profit transfer based on share ownership percentage........surely unless dividend announced then only shareholder will have entitlement......

Don't forget, Capital A will still own a substantial portion of the airline business via the shares. So they will be dividend upstream in the future. In addition, the airline business has to pay % of revenue to Capital A for use of the AirAsia brand. In addition, with their new 14 line MRO hangar at KLIA, the new AAX group will service their aircrafts there.

Symbiotic relationship. Both Capital A and the new enlarged AAX group will both win.
