Sunrise Co was built on scratch by ex Selangor Exco Tong, why bother to pay high price for Sunrise for software knowledge when they can get the the founder Tong on board for a small fee

LCHING...currency gain or loss depend on the foreign investor. I know a S'porean friend who bought land near Tg Pelepas/Nusajaya cheap2 many2 years back and now intends to develop it and is open to joint venture. To him, if he sells it, he gains capital appreciation in RM but if converted to Sing dollar, he may lose cos the Sing dollar has appreciated a lot. Thus he has to continue 'parking' his investment here.

Ah... good one oswald. The Q here is how much money he parks at iskandar? Whatever it is, uems has hit 4 weeks lowest today. Seems like someone is buying & selling at the same time to support the price as close as possible to 2.70. Dji up about 40 points in 1 hour now. Good luck to all of us tomorrow. Cut ur loss short, let ur profits run. Although cutting losses may not be an option for majorty investor but keep in mind the fact is we don't know the upside/downside of this stock so it's best to keep ur overall loss within 3-5%. if ur down 10-20% u need bigger gain to break even IF the stock goes up.

UEMS sitting on so much typhoon free land, sell FH, plenty of china and Arab buyers want, but mostly they hold back. BRDB regretted they exhausted their Bangsar land too fast now try to buy back at 20 times the price they sold.

UEM Sunrise is being sued by Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia for recovery of the property which was acquired by Sunrise in 2008. (SunBiz)

They company has one lawsuit abv them ,delay in KLIA 2 handover. They have good properties and projects. Sure make money but this money can go to the late and over and lawsuit. Just be cautious.

uem sunrise and uem construction are 2 seperate entities. lawsuit towards uem construction for klia 2 delay should not affect uem sunrise. Correct me if im wrong.
